Chapter Text
This video starts in the living room as well, except this time there were a lot more people and instead of using JARVIS as a recorder, Tony was using his phone again. "Alright, peeps! I promised you Avengers and here they are! Come on guys, wave for the folks at home."
The people gathered on the large lounge all raised their hands and waved. Some rather enthusiastically, some not. Tony laughed from behind the camera. "Yeah. Wave back in the comments, peeps."
"Okay, how are we going to do this, guys? And what juicy info will you give the world? How about crafts and/or hobbies."
The Avengers turned to look at each other, before having a quiet discussion not picked up by the phone. A little bit of shuffling order happened, before they grinned at Tony. The one on the far left of the screen shyly smiled. "We'll do it in alphabetical order from first name. Hi, I'm Bruce. I'm a scientist and my hobbies include meditation, reading and collecting teas from around the world. I'm also sometimes called the Hulk."
The next guy waved enthusiastically at the phone when it went to him. "Hey! I'm Clint, also known as Hawkeye. I'm the awesome archer who never misses a target. I like playing video games in my spare time. I will occasionally whip out a jigsaw and do them too. Having my eyesight and pattern recognition makes it fun to do speed tests with them."
The camera moves on to the woman in the middle. She smiled and gave a little wave of her own. "I'm Natasha and my codename is Black Widow. I'm an expert in the martial arts and a linguist. I like doing yoga to keep myself limber and I also enjoy a few hours a week on ballet. Doing that too much can do your body harm, so I try not to overdo it. I only do it for the practise now for movement patterns and formation."
The camera moves on to a face most people know. He grins. "Hello. I'm Steve, but most people know me as Captain America. I am an artist, so in my spare time my craft is art. I like pencils and charcoals mainly, but lately have started dabbling in paints. I also like to travel. I'd like to see the world in this day and age."
The camera moved on to the last person on the couch, who smiled widely. "Hello, people of Midgard! My name is Thor and I am also called the God of Thunder. I hail from Asgard, which is a different realm to yours. I enjoy hunting and exploring new places. Where I come from, since I heard some people find hunting repulsive, none of the animal is wasted. The meat and some of the organs are eaten. The hide is used in clothing, armour and fastenings on weapons. The organs not eaten are used in magic rituals for those who practice that or turned to fertiliser for crops for the farmers. Bones are sometimes also shaped into ornaments and toys. All parts can also be used in trade with other realms."
There was a rustle and the phone turned off and JARVIS back on and filming again, as Tony was now on the lounge with the others. "Okay, you all know me and my hobbies/crafting things. And my name, and that I'm Iron man. So, no need to go over that with me. What a lot of you probably don't know is that gasp, shock, horror, I am not actually an Avenger. I am a solo agent who was called in to work with the Avengers during the Battle, as they needed experts in the sciences and engineering during that mess. Iron Man was also needed. I was asked several times before the team formed if I wanted to be part of this and I said no each time. I was assessed by Nat here, who decided that no, I wasn't right for the team and so they took me on as a SHIELD consultant instead. I choose whether or not I help on the projects they want help with. There was no way I was going to say no to helping with that battle."
"You're welcome for that, by the way," Natasha stated, turning to him.
He rolled his eyes. "Oh, I'm still pissed about the whole P.A thing, by the way. I was dying, you picked crappy timing. Oh, and the needle. Never forgiven for that. I don't like things like that done to me without consent. You have no idea how much I hate that..."
She looked down at the floor and nodded. "Understood."
He nodded back. "Glad that's cleared up."
Turning back to the camera he grinned. "And that's the Avengers team and some of what they like to do in their downtime. I hope you have...well, I wouldn't say enjoyed this month, because I sure as hell haven't. It's been pretty much a nightmare most of the way through, but I hope you all enjoyed learning or relearning things about me."
He shrugged and poked Bruce who was sitting next to him. "Well, it was interesting getting these guys in front of a camera and getting them talking, so enjoy because it likely will never happen again. Not on this channel anyway. I haven't figured out if am going to keep it going or not, but if I do I think it will probably be just quick flosstube update things, because right now I think I need to take time off and just concentrate on me."
He grinned widely at the camera. "I'm Tony Stark and this is the end of this month of updates on my life, people. I will see you when I see you. Bye now."
