“So, were you ever going to mention you can do that?”
Skill Reveal - Bamf!Neal - Neal Saves a WC Member
Peter's eyes locked with the criminal across the park. They've been after this guy for weeks and recently they'd finally gotten enough evidence to arrest him. They already interrogated him once though so he could recognize them.
The man took off running, but when Peter turned to tell Neal a little girl was there. She had her hair in pigtails and wore a bright pink tutu, grinning as she tugged on Neal's sleeve.
"Are you a dancer? You look like the girl that was in the Dark Swan," the girl said as soon as Neal turned to her. "Could you dance for me?"
A woman, presumably the girl's mother, ran over to them, "Abby! Don't run off like that!" She then turned to Neal and Peter, "I'm sorry, Abby loves ballet and we just took her to see the American Ballet last week. It's still all she can think about, she's probably just confused."
Neal shook her head, "It's fine." She looked to the girl with a soft smile, "Would you like to see something cool?"
"Neal, the criminal-" Peter tried to interrupt.
She didn't even look at him as she began adjusting her footing. Suddenly, she was doing a pirouette then moving like the park was her stage. She did some more fancy moves that Peter couldn't recognize. She moved across the park with leaps and spins as if it was the most natural thing.
Peter hadn't even realized she had caught up to the criminal until she kicked her leg out and hit the man in his head.
As Peter handcuffed the unconscious man, he gave Neal a look, "So, were you ever going to mention you can do that?"
Neal paid him no attention as she began teaching Abby how to do a perfect pirouette.
