Work Text:
Punz and Sapnap had decided to stream Valorant together again. But it ended up being one of those streams where they streamed for ten hours. It wasn’t planned, they’d just been on a winning streak and couldn’t stop until they failed. Then finally lost when Punz was only a couple elo from immortal rank, he was too disappointed to go again.
He’d been working so hard to rank up that it made him a little bummed he didn’t get there, so he ended the stream on a little off-note. Sapnap was still waiting in the Discord call afterward, just wanting to chat a little longer before he headed off for the evening. Punz felt off, he instinctively pulled his knees up to his chest so his feet rested on the chair with him as he unmuted.
“Hey man,” Sapnap greeted. Even if he wasn’t visible, his smile was always known.
“Hi,” Punz hummed back. He had been yelling and talking for ten hours, and now a sudden lack of interest in anything kept him feeling not very talkative.
They sat in silence for another few minutes, save for the clacking of Sapnap’s keyboard before he spoke again.
“Sapnap?” He hummed in acknowledgment, “Um, I feel kinda weird…” His voice sounded small, Sapnap already knew what was going on the second he mentioned it.
“Yeah? Just weird, right? Not sick?”
“Yeah…” His voice was slightly muffled now, Sapnap had an idea as to why.
“Wanna turn on your camera for me, buddy?” Normally Punz was conscious of his room and his appearance, all his facecam streams were pick and choose of when he felt good enough. But when Sapnap’s there calling him buddy and asking so sweetly, he’d done it before it fully registered.
Sapnap was correct when Punz appeared on his screen, legs scrunched up and his thumb popped in his mouth. He turned on his camera too for his friend and watched as he perked up a little, seemingly more comfortable with the familiarity of his friend.
“How are you feelin’ now?”
“Still weird,” Punz mumbled, “Hoodie icky.”
“Icky?” Sapnap mused.
“Not soft.” The blonde was frowning at the edge of the sleeve. It was one of his old merch hoodies, so it was well-loved and very worn. The fuzz on the inside was scraggly instead of soft and new, apparently it bothered the little’s senses.
“I’m sorry bud,” Sapnap frowned, “Why don’t you take it off and go get a blanket instead?” He suggested it although he knew it sucked not having a hoodie, he practically lived in them.
“Blankie?” Punz quizzed, but before he got an answer he was scooting off his chair and out of frame. A minute later he waddled back in with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders and sluggishly dragging behind him.
“While you’re up, do you have the cup we sent you?”
“Yeah!”
“Can you go get it? Are you able to fill it?” Punz had run off-screen before Sapnap was finished, but he came back with his cup proudly presented, already filled with apple juice. “Oh! Good job, buddy!” He beamed over the praise.
“Thank, sapsap.”
Sapnap. Holy fuck, he didn’t think he’d ever find something cuter than George’s doodles.
After Sapnap had made sure Punz was securely tucked into bed and asleep, he was texting Dream to help him send a package to Massachusetts.
Everyone knew Dream’s love language was gifting, so he was excited to send their boy another parcel. They ordered a couple things online to arrive before they could send it off and waited in anticipation. Each boy had said something they thought he needed, but Dream’s choice was a little different.
When Punz woke up the next morning he had a message that Dream had sent him money, attached with a message that read, “get some breakfast :)”.

Roughly two weeks after that slip— which Punz was still embarrassed for —he’d received a package he definitely hasn’t ordered. The return address was to “Clay” so, he did have an idea where it was from at the very least.
Since the last one contained things that… well, things he loved, he may have been a little excited for this one.
It definitely didn’t disappoint.
He used his switchblade to cut the tape. Inside were a couple things, all wrapped in some stupid dinosaur paper, (it wasn’t stupid, he secretly wanted to save all the little pastel dinos). Stuck to the top was a neon green sticky note, he recognized Dream’s messy handwriting instantly.
"Call us when you open it! :)”
He set the note to the side while he picked up the first item, it was really soft and squishy. It was a Minecraft blanket. Minecraft. Technically, it went with his bee, which is exactly what Karl was going for when he picked it out. Punz may have seen it as dumb, but little Punz was more than excited to show Sapsap and Dreamie all the creepers on it.
The next gift was also soft, but a lot smaller than the blanket. It was a hoodie— no, a Sapnap hoodie. His current merch design, to be exact. It was extremely soft like it was new, but the slight creases and smell of cologne told him it was Sapnap’s hoodie.
With flushed cheeks, he pulled it over his head and savored the soft interior, so much better than his hoodie he wore all the time.
The last item was way smaller and not soft, the sides of it protruded out a little. It intrigued him enough to hurry him when he opened it, revealing the two-pack of pacifiers. They were both blue and looked identical to George’s, except for the different colors.
Punz scrambled for his phone and hit Facetime on the first contact he found of theirs— it was Dream’s —it rang a couple times before the camera was flipping on.
“Punz!” Dream smiled, “What’s up?”
“That Punz?” He heard Sapnap in the background. Before he could register it, all four boys were crowding around Dream’s phone.
“I got your package.” He bit his lip, “Thank you. Like, so much. I love it.”
“Wearing the hoodie already?” Sapnap smirked.
“Oh shut up!” He dropped his phone onto the desk so the camera pointed to the ceiling, but he smiled through the deep blush that dusted his cheeks. The boys all laughed fondly and started to ask questions while he opened the pack of pacifiers.
“What’s with these?” He hummed as he held one up, George stole the phone.
“Well you suck your thumb,” he cooed, “It’s okay if you don’t like it but I thought maybe one day you’d try it.”
Punz set that aside in his head. As much as it should be bothering him… something about it made him want to try it.
“Thank you, guys.”
“Of course, man!” Karl laughed. They all ended up staying on Facetime for the evening.
Packages became more frequent between them, once it was only a box filled with cheez-its and a note saying, “Little man was sad he didn’t have any. :)”

He was feeling weird again. Another long stream left him fatigued and weirdly sad. He had facecam on today, chat noticed the hoodie, and was excited to see him in Sapnap merch. Little did they know it was actually the man’s hoodie.
Punz tumbled off of his chair and onto the bed with his phone, politely asking Siri to call George.
The ringing bothered his ears a little, he was chewing on the corner of his thumbnail when George finally picked up.
“Gogy?” George softened at that small voice.
“Hey, buddy!” Punz smiled, he liked that nickname. “You okay?”
“Mhm.” The blonde ended up with his thumb in his mouth. George knew Punz was bigger than him, but he couldn’t help but think how tiny he seemed right now.
“Punz?” The little looked back at the phone, George was smiling at him. “You wanna try something for me, bud? Can you do that?” Punz nodded, too sleepy to take his thumb out to respond. “Okay, you remember the paci I sent you? Do you wanna try it?” Yes.
Punz had really been itching to try it, they sat in his bedside drawer taunting him. He’d never been little to actually use it. He reached into the drawer to fish it out and held it up to the camera.
“Good!” George praised, “Whenever you’re ready, baby.” The affectionate name had completely slipped out, but Punz was too little to question it. It only made him feel that much smaller, so tiny and unsure of everything around him.
As the room started to get bigger he distracted himself and replaced his thumb with the pacifier. After a moment of curious nibbling on the silicone, George saw the visible relaxation as his friend started to let go. His eyes dropped as he leaned back into his pillows, tiny little hums slipped out occasionally.
Nothing else was said because it’d almost instantly put him to sleep, but George took— way too many —screenshots of the boy and sent them to his boyfriends.
All three had rushed to his room to see Punz for themselves, their sweet little boy curled up on top of his covers, practically swamped in Sapnap’s hoodie and gently sucking on his paci.
Yeah, they didn’t regret this.
