Work Text:

“I won't hesitate to slice off your finger if you don't tell us what we need to know,” Calypso snarled at Leo, who was bloodied, bruised and tied up to a chair on an unfamiliar ship.

“That's fine by me,” Leo attempted a smile but it came out all crooked due to the upper part of his cheek being swollen thanks to the black eye he was sporting. “ I was actually going to try and see if I could make a wooden finger- you know, as a replacement.”

Calypso groaned, throwing her head back at the stubborn responses she was getting from the intruder . He had infiltrated the ship covertly and managed to take down half of the staff without being noticed until he had made a mistake and attacked Annabeth- whom even Calypso wouldn't dare try and go toe to toe with.

And now, Leo was tied up to a chair, beaten bloody and being interrogated by an alarmingly beautiful woman.

“I don't enjoy wasting my time, so do us all a favour and tell us what you were doing here.”

Leo sighed. “ Well you see, I kinda just hopped aboard and thought- hey wouldn't it be fun if I killed everyone aboard!”

“So you’re telling me that you decided to just massacre us all for no apparent reason?”

“Yep!”

Whack!

Leo slowly moved his head back to face Calypso. He could feel blood building up in his mouth as he leaned forward, startling the interrogator. SHe braced herself only to hear a gurgling sound from Leo, who laughed and spat out some blood. The crimson substance was sprayed right by Calypso’s foot, angering her to grab Leo by the face.

Their noses almost brushed as Calypso spoke again, her voice muchmore visceral.

“I’m no longer asking you- Who sent you here?”

Leo refused to answer as more blood slowly trickled out of his mouth, trialing out of the corner of his mouth, missing Calypso’s hand by about a millimeter. Frustrated, she pushed Leo’s face away and ran a hand through her curly hair as he turned around.

Leo took this as his chance to begin picking at the lock behind his hands.

Push up- listen for the click. Now twist.

Pop!

Calypso heard the click, but alas it was too late for her. She turned around and to her horror, Leo was standing , his hands free as he began to ball up the chain- as if to use it as a weapon which Calypso feared would be very effective.

She reached for her sword and, alarmed, found that it wasn't there. Taking another glance, she figured that Leo must have stolen it- though how he did that without her noticing, she truly did not know.

“I wouldn't try and fight you when I’m the only one with weapons- I may be a pirate but I’m not so unfair.” Leo pouted. “ I have to say, It is a shame that I must leave like this but i guess we can simply be a modern Romeo and Juliet.”

Calypso frowned as Leo swung his leg to hit the back of her knees. Immediately, She crippled to the floor. Leo was about to raise his knee to bash her head when Calypso hit him with the same move and Leo collapsed right on top of her.

Their heads were millimeters away, their lips a breath away.

“Sorry,” Leo whispered as he pressed his lips against Calypso's. Leo, who was about to pull away, was surprised to find Her hand at the back of his head, extending the kiss. She could taste the blood from his lips but also something else- Mangoes? When he finally managed to pull away, he gave another apology.

“I’m afraid the kiss was simply an apology for what I’m about to do,” Leo rushed out as he grabbed the back of Calypso's head and thrusted it forward towards his knee that immediately had her passing out.

Leo dragged her unconscious body and placed her in the chair that he had once been tied to. He grabben the chains and tied Calypso back up, clicking the lock back.

“I’m afraid my reasons for my being here are a secret- but don't worry, I’ll be back.” Leo smiled as he pressed a kiss to Calypso’s bruised head and with that, fled.
