Notes:

Dear Keanu;

My wig came.

That is definitely *not* green. :/

It's the color of Sulley from Monsters Inc and never once did I think of him as, nor hear him described as, being green.

Sigh.

So I've ordered up another one. Let's hope it actually turns out to be the right color on the wheel and not an opposite shade.

This picture of Tom turned out quite well. But as I was drawing it, I kept being aware that I'm missing 30% feeling in my right thumb. Usually I'm not too aware of it because I've had it for about nine years now.

Have I menyioned it before?

I'm not exactly sure what happened to it, and pardon me if I've told you this story before, but this one week years ago, I was carrying an 18kg box of kitty litter up my porch. When I got inside my thumb hurt, which had never happened before and was odd considering it was not the first time I had carried that much kitty litter. I looked at the thumb and it was bruised, a blood vessel having popped.

But it healed and was fine. No feeling lost then.

But a few days later that arm started to ache, one of the worst agonies I have ever suffered. It lasted about two days but after that was when my thumb went numb. It feels very much like constant pins and needles.

I guess, lifting the water yesterday set it off a little?

There was a more comedic incident when I bruised my thumb years before. My house is unheated except for certain rooms in the winter, as you may recall. The kitchen is one of the unfortunate rooms that gets very cold. Well once Mom, Tara and I were having pancakes but the table syrup was frozen. I bruised my thumb trying to squeeze it out of the bottle. :/

But speaking of condiments, along with the wig I bought this horseradish mustard. Someone said it would make my eyes water and sting my nose. Alas it didn't. What good is horseradish, my dearest friend, if your nose doesn't feel like it's about to burst?

But I did learn that 90% of the world's mustard seed is produced in Canada.

I guess that's why you, my restless, wayward Canadian vagabond, always manage to cut the mustard, no matter what you have gone through! ;D <3

All my love,
Erin
