Work Text:

It’s pitch black. The only thing visible was the dirty wall separating you from sweet freedom. Your joints emitted a dull ache every second that passed and your head pounded with painful anticipation. Your empty stomach growled in agony and the urge to throw up the lining of your stomach never perished. What could you do? Absolutely nothing. The culprit that held you beneath his talons every night gifted no mercy, no matter how you begged. Every form of torture known to this bot had used it against you. You bled through every hole on your feckless body and even new wounds failed to heal themselves. You pondered how long it would take for them to let you go. You couldn’t escape by yourself in your current state; but did anyone even know of your strange whereabouts? Not even you knew where you were. You could’ve been in a whole different country for all you knew.
As your subconscious clock ticked by, you could feel yourself edging closer to an eternal slumber. The shots of adrenaline that their team medic had ‘prescribed’ you with was the only sustenance keeping you alive. Once a night would your veins pulsate and it made you feel alive; not for long, however.
But hoped. You silently prayed to yourself every night in hopes of escaping, in hopes of returning home to your family.

A soft hiss followed by the loud opening of a door pulled you out of your groggy nap. You inhaled sharply, turning over on the blood stained floor to be met with the pedes of your captor. The silent type.
He knelt down in front of you, staring you in the face for a long period of time.
You cleared your throat, sitting up against the wall behind you. “What?” The words left your lips with a struggled wheeze. Your dry throat was not in your favour.

After a long while of staring, the entity turned away from you and protruded back down the hallway. The door stayed open and a cool draft had wafted its way in towards you. It didn’t take long for another pair of long metallic legs to come into view down the hall. You froze up and your blood ran seemingly cold the moment you recognised who they belonged to. He was all too familiar. The way he strutted around this damn ship like he owned the joint. He was just another bitch under someone else’s command. Such an ass kisser.

You frowned, narrowing your gaze towards the darkened walls.

“Are you sure that this is a good idea?” Another pair of heavy footsteps approached close behind your culprit. One that you also recognised.

Knockout and ‘Lord’ Starscream.

“Do not doubt me!” Starscream sneered towards his medic and they both entered the large room that you were captive in.

You gulped, curling your toes as Knockout knelt down beside you.
“Hm. She looks weary.” The red coloured bot examined you with his dark red eyes.
You stared up at him, your eyes wide with both fear and curiosity.

“We cannot afford to lose her to death.. let alone the Autobots.” Starscream spoke again, disgust dripping from his gravelly tone.

All you could do was close your eyes tightly. They were going to murder you in cold blood just yet. Then again, was that good? You had already endured so much pain you pondered on how you were actually still breathing properly.
A sharp pain on your upper arm caused you to let out a shriek.
“Another shot of adrenaline as requested.” Knockout spoke with mockery in his voice and a smirk on his face, gesturing to his higher end peer.

“Excellent.” Starscream grinned, dismissing the sports car.

Knockout took one last glance at you before turning away and leaving you in the hands of the second in command.

Your heart pumped quickly. A burst of energy released and you shuffled against the wall, rising to your wobbly feet.
“You really do amuse me, vermin.”
Starscream spat, watching your pathetic attempt on rising to your feet.
You managed to push yourself from the supportive wall behind you and stand head on to Starscream.

Your eyes trailed upwards to him, his height no doubt making you tremble before him. He could crush you like a bug in seconds but he chose not to.
“So,” you began, feeling rather spiteful, “when can I go home?”
Starscream grumbled, leaning down onto one knee and gritting his teeth whilst staring at your shaky body.
“I’m going to make sure that you never see the light of day.”

The words sunk in slowly and you could’ve sworn you felt a smile creep onto your face. Leaving was inevitable and you knew it.

“I never expected to leave.. my liege.” You mocked Knockout, taking note from conversations between him and Starscream.

The Decepticon growled, forcefully picking you up with his uncomfortable talons. You winded, having the air completely knocked from your lungs. He took pleasure in watching you struggle and writhe around, knowing you couldn’t possibly wiggle out of his grip.
“Oh what? You sick fuck, you love this don’t you?” You grimaced, bearing your teeth at Starscream which only caused him to grow even more agitated.
He lifted up a talon and simply drove it into your chest. It pierced your blood caked shirt and broke your skin no problem.
A gasp escaped your chapped lips, you made an attempt at screaming out but only a soft wheeze was audible.
Shakily, your hands found themselves gripping against his large talon, slipping against the metal as you desperately made an attempt to push it away.

Starscream’s intentions with you weren’t clear. Whilst Megatron stayed in a still stasis, the second in command could do as he pleased. He admitted to himself that things were boring around the ship, yes everyone ran around for him but he yearned for some entertainment.

It was a quiet night when you clocked out from work. You strolled along the sidewalks and made the mistake of taking a backstreet shortcut home. There, you met Starscream.
You could never forget the devilish look on his face. How he lifted you so simply from the ground. You kicked and screamed and in the process threw your bag at him. Perhaps someone reported you as missing by now, but you had no idea how long it had been since your unfortunate abduction.
You had pinned it on being a week at least.

As Starscream’s talon stayed punctured within your chest, your heart thrummed a million miles per second. Your quick inhales and exhales made you grow light headed.
Your head fell back and you stared into the Decepticon’s bright red eyes. Truth be told, you wouldn’t mind if you died like this, dying to an alien life form or some sort of mysterious being.

“Kill me.” You wheezed out to him.
His sharp talon twisted in your chest and you gargled on your own saliva painfully.
The feeling of your writhing body in his palm brought him such ecstasy. The feeling of being in control was enough to feed his forever growing ego.

With a swift movement, he pulled the talon from your now bleeding chest and you shrieked. Blood poured from the new wound and the pain felt nonexistent. You had already endured so much there was no point in dwelling on this one.

His talon crept around the back of your head and forced your head up right. You cringed as the sharp sensation sent a tingling motion throughout your aching neck.

Starscream blinked slowly, bringing you close to his face and staring you down.
Meanwhile, you gripped ahold of one of his talon’s, terrified of falling to the ground. There’s no doubt he would let you slip out of his grip and leave you to die from a ruptured organ. He wouldn’t mind watching you slowly die from a gangrenous shattered hip.

“I do not condone any human behaviour or humour on MY ship.” He sneered at you. You could somehow smell the Energon traces on his ghastly breath.

You found yourself smiling and letting out a gentle laugh.
“Is losing your mind counted as human behaviour? Surely your state of sanity doesn’t look too good.”
You grinned, proud of yourself for pushing out such a sentence whilst under the influence of complete agony.
“Besides, you’re a powerful mind.. I want to know more about you before you kill me.”

Starscream growled at you. Your confidence began to dwindle like a small flame against the strong wind.
His singular sharp talon trailed down your tattered clothing and stopped just above the button of your jeans. Your breath hitched in the back of your dry throat and for a second, Starscream enjoyed your whimpers of fear. Usually he would despise the pathetic noises that left your mouth. The snarky sentences that left your mouth would fuel his anger issues and send him off in a rut. Your sharp tongue was how you were still alive; shocking, I know.

Your heart continued to race a painful speed, anticipating what was to happen next.
“This attitude of yours somehow still persists. You humans are.. questionable.”
This time you decided to keep your mouth shut. Today wouldn’t be the day that you’d perish or suffer a god awful injury, only for Knockout to hesitantly patch you up.
So, you held your tongue and waited for what was to happen next.

Starscream halted his movements and held you away from him, his fingers curling around your weak body. He studied you with his red eyes, taking note of everything on your complexion and to how you’d shuffle in his grasp. Your body language intrigued him greatly.
Moments passed and he carelessly set you back down onto the cold, hard floor.
“Wh-what’re you doing?”
You asked with a gravelly tone.

The bot simply smirked and took a few steps out of the room.
“Knockout will bring you food and water. I’ve heard thats what you.. humans.. fuel off of.”
Your head tilted in confusion and you stared at the back of him, blinking slowly.
“Why?”
You asked after clearing your dry throat.
Nothing was said afterwards, however. The door to your lonely cell closed and the retreating footsteps of the second in command faded off into deafening silence.

You sat in the corner for a little while, pondering what was going to happen next as the days would keep passing by.
You were scared. More than scared, that word didn’t begin to cover what sort of fear you were feeling in this moment in time.

What was going to happen to you?
