Summary
Years ago, three unlikely students saved a young chick from certain death. Despite having no experience with newborns, they pulled together to look after him until such a time as he could be handed over to the police. Then the chick was adopted and they never heard from him again. That was that. Their short-lived stint as parents was done.
Sixteen years have since passed, and the three of them have drifted apart. These days, Bill is a successful man: he has a good job and a loving girlfriend. He’s happy. But he’s also on the brink of a terrible mistake. Pina, meanwhile, lives just as he always has, with a new partner every week. But he never learns, and things are beginning to fray with his best friend. As for Aoba ...
Well, no one has heard from Aoba in years.
And now, just as he’s beginning a new phase in his life, and prompted by a mysterious letter from an even more mysterious drama club scout, the shock egg decides to go looking for the animals who saved him. But expectations never quite match reality. Inevitably people move on. Time passes. Friendships end.
But feelings are not so easily forgotten.

the ocs, so solid and tasty and well made, the canon characters, so solidly changed in a realistic way. the plot also so solid. my one faux complaint, you never do learn what legosi and louis disappeared to do, i imagine they went and dominated crime or whatever
