Sweat drips down his face, feet pounding crumbling stone. There’s wet green in the air, but also rainforest rot. He looks back when he hears that deranged monkey scream.
Why does he always accept these ousy jobs?
Barry almost stumbles into a wall of fire, distracted, but drops into a slide just in time.
There’s a mine shaft up ahead: he thinks he’ll lose that damn monkey there. But he’s so focused on getting to the rickety cart, he doesn’t notice the gap in the stone walkway until he’s already falling free.
Good thing he’s stealing the Idol of Regeneration.
