It was a typical Saturday for Tsukishima, Kuroo, Akaashi, and Bokuto. The four hang out in Bokuto and Akaashi"s apartment as they talk about almost everything.
They try to meet every weekend despite their busy schedule; Akaashi and Tsukki running a bookstore-slash-coffee shop together, Kuroo working under his father"s company, and Bokuto working as an athlete-slash-model-slash occasional actor (having to do a couple of cameos in few TV shows and movies). Since high school, the four of them have become inseparable (plus Kenma, but he"s too busy with his online career to hang out with his friends nowadays). Even with Tsukki"s distance, since he attended school in Miyagi while the three attended high school in Tokyo.
Akaashi and Bokuto started dating after Bokuto"s high school graduation, while Kuroo and Tsukki became best friends -- much to Bokuto"s disappointment as he wants the two to become a couple as well after years of pushing Kuroo and Tsukishima together, he finally gave up.
"... and BAM! I slipped on a banana! Who would have thought that it happens in real life?" Said Bokuto who was in the middle of telling his embarrassing story of the week. The guy never runs of things to talk about as he surprisingly humiliates himself daily.
"I"m pretty sure yellow stands out on gray concrete. I mean I have terrible eyesight but I would have seen it, Bokuto-san." Tsukki chuckles as he playfully teased him, the older just pouted in response.
"Ah, so that"s why you didn"t want us to do it that day. I thought it was because I overdid it last week, hmmm?" Akaashi piped in as he kisses his boyfriend"s cheek. Bokuto smothered him with kisses in return.
"Oh wow, way to rub your lovey-dovey relationship to us, single people. Right Kei?" Kuroo Finally spoke up. Akaashi was the only one who caught on, Kuroo never called him "Kei" before-- it was always "Tsukki" or "Tsukki-chan", never "Kei". Before he can even raise a question, Kuroo"s phone rang. "What is it, Ayaka?" He answered, slightly annoyed at his secretary who was on the other line. He then sighed after hearing the bad news; he"s needed in the office to fix the problem right away. The man had no choice but to go.
Kuroo stood up while still on the phone and walked towards the table to where Tsukki was sitting, who gave him a questioning look with slight panic. "Ku-" the younger was cut off as Kuroo gently grab his chin placing a kiss on his lips.
This earned collective gasps from their friends and Tsukki who just dropped his cup full of coffee. The older male stopped and mentally processed what he just did, realizing that they were not at home and were not alone. Bokuto and Akaashi were visibly shocked while Tsukki looked like he"s about to punch the guy who just kissed him in front of their friends.
Kuroo silently cursed himself before clearing his throat. "Bye Tsukki", he said in the most monotonous tone. Kuroo then walks to Bokuto and Akaashi to kiss them both before saying, "Bye Bro and Akaashi" and quickly retreated out of their friends" apartment. Talk about awkward.
"What the hell was that?" Akaashi was the one who was the first to speak after a whole five minutes of silence.
"...maybe it"s a work thing?" Tsukki squeaked, mentally hoping that Akaashi would leave it.
"Bulshit, Tsukishima. Since when?"
Akaashi rarely cursed, so Tsukishima knows not to drag this more. "His birthday last year." He sighed in defeat.
"What the fuck?! So you were the guy he was raving about?" Bokuto finally spoke up.
The youngest turned to the bulky man. "I"m sorry, what did you say?"
"Yeah, bro said you were the best sex of his life!" He laughs, clearly happy that his two best friends finally got together but seemingly unaware that Tsukki growing annoyed at their raven-haired friend.
"Honestly, I"m not even mad anymore. I"m just surprised that you were able to keep this to us for long." Akaashi said as he sips his tea.
Tsukki groans, "I was planning to drag this a little longer. Stupid Tetsurou." He grabs his phone on the table to text his boyfriend. "Fuck you", he typed and pressed send.
"Well, that"s Kuroo Tetsuro for you. You really think that guy can keep a secret for long?" Akaashi teased.
"I know, I"m kinda regretting this now."
"No, you don"t."
His phone dings, "Later babe <3". "You"re right, I don"t."
