Chapter Text
Suspiciously, Jongin stares at him, eyes scanning over the half full glass in his hand. “Orange juice? I thought you preferred a glass of milk with your meal?” Jongin looks at him confused, slightly tilting his head to the side waiting for Sehun to answer his addled question.
“I think you misunderstood what I said about taking precautions to make my bones strong. I do drink milk for that exact reason, but I will drink just about anything I can find. I am not picky, I would never turn anything down.”
Jongin’s hums, eyes still carefully watching Sehun as he takes a sip from the coffee cup in his hands. “Will everything be the same when we get back?” Sehun lowers the glass from his lips, finally setting it back on the table as he lifts his eyes to gaze at Jongin.
“I don’t know why we wouldn’t be on the same terms as before. Sure I wanted our relationship to progress at a slower pace. I wanted to make sure we weren’t rushing into anything, but it’s not your fault that we had sex. It wasn’t like I was rejecting your advances, if anything I was encouraging you every step of the way.”
“I just thought it might change the dynamics, I know you didn’t mark me and I didn’t know if there was a reason why you didn’t take the incentive to sink your teeth into me.” Sehun pushes his plate away, shortly sighing under his breath as he makes his way over to the glass door.
Jongin panics, eyes shooting over to where Sehun walked out the door. Hurriedly, he throws some money on the table to cover the bill for their breakfast and he sprints outside, eyes scanning the packed parking lot for Sehun.
“I never dated anyone before, I didn’t want to get emotionally attached to anyone. I wanted to know who the perfect person that the universe chose for me would be. I didn’t want to become fond of someone, then meet my soulbinder one day and be stuck in the middle, because then I would have to make the ultimate choice of who I wanted more.”
“I cried with you the night your father died, every tear marked on my skin made it worse than the last. I felt how you broke down, I was drowning in every emotion that you felt and it was so intense that it almost took my breath away. I thought something happened to you and in that moment I was prepared to die with you.”
“You felt that? I don’t understand why you didn’t tell me about it weeks ago?” Sehun turns around to meets Jongin’s eyes, a shiver runs down his spine as he notices the pain coursing through his watery eyes.
“I really wanted to tell you, but how was I supposed to tell you everything I felt from your side of the bond? Every time you came down sick, I was just as drained as you were. When you would experience your heats, my body became so unbearable and all I could do was sweat from the heat that consumed my body.”
“I am sorry, I didn’t realize you could feel all of my emotions. I thought we only felt the connection and shared the marks on our skin.” Sehun takes a step closer to Jongin, raising his hands to grasp Jongin’s face in his hands. His fingers spread on his cheeks, pulling him until their lips meet.
Sehun draws the pads of his fingers over the tears slipping down his cheeks, smearing the wetness across Jongin’s face. Jongin presses open mouth kisses on his trembling lips, forcing Sehun to swallow every whimper that slips through the seam of their connected mouths.
“I still want to take you out on dates, buy you beautiful things and let our relationship blossom as it has been since we met. I don’t want to mark you until we are sure this is what we want, it should be special and I don’t want to rush into anything.”
“Okay, let’s take as much time as we need. There’s no need to rush anything, we will discuss it again at a later time and do it when we feel more comfortable about it.” Sehun sweetly smacks a short kiss on his lips, smiling as he buries his face in Jongin’s shoulder in a tight hug. Jongin holds him for a long while, just standing there tightly embracing Sehun and the scent coming off him in waves slowly comforts him.
Sehun sits patiently in the passenger seat, while Jongin loads their luggage in the trunk. “Do you have any plans tonight? If not, I would love to take you out on a date.” Jongin mutters as he climbs into the drivers seat, palm stretching out for Sehun to hold his hand.
“It depends, where are you planning to take me?”
“I thought you said you would follow me anywhere as long as I promised to feed you? Are you not hungry anymore or did I spoil you too much over the weekend?” Jongin focuses on the road, thumb pressing into the middle of his palm as he pulls Sehun’s hand to his mouth, gently kissing his soft skin.
“It doesn’t matter where you take me, I would really love to go on a date with you. Do I need to wear anything specific or do you want me to come the way I am dressed now?”
“You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, besides I am the only one you should be trying to impress.” Sehun sleeps for most of the trip back home, securing Jongin’s arm across his waist and holding his hand close to his heart.
Sehun doesn’t stir until he hears the trunk slam shut, startled he meets Jongin outside the car. “I can help you carry those back to our rooms.” Jongin shakes his head, motioning a finger for Sehun to head inside their dorm building.
The halls are busy, students shift from one class to another and some return to the dorms for the day. Sehun spots Chanyeol at the end of the hallway, his friend sticking a key back inside his pocket as he opens the door.
“Hey, Sehun. You’re finally back, I was beginning to think you had moved away.” Chanyeol greets his friend with the warmest hug, picking him off the ground as he crushed his body.
“You would never get that lucky, you are always going to be stuck with me. I will admit, it was a nice getaway for the weekend.” Sehun doesn’t fully catch his breath until Chanyeol releases him and sits him back down.
“Were you ever going to tell me that he’s your soulbinder? I didn’t know and when Taemin dropped the news on me, I felt like a complete idiot.”
“I was going to tell you? I just didn’t know how to do it. How was I supposed to tell you, when you still haven’t found yours yet? I think I always assumed that since we went through everything together that we would finds ours at the same time, so we could share the experience together.”
“It would have been nice, although I don’t think everything always goes the way you plan. So tell me, what’s Jongin really like? What’s the connection like and does he take good care of you?” Chanyeol pulls Sehun inside the room, guiding him to take a seat on his bed.
“The connection is very difficult to describe. When he touches me, there’s this small current that hits my skin and it’s the most indescribable feeling. It only lasts for a couple seconds and sometimes I can feel it in every nerve in my body.”
“It sounds like you’re already bonded to him.” Chanyeol shortly smiles at his friend, hand reaching out to grasp Sehun’s shoulder, reassuring him by knowingly nodding his head.
“I don’t want, Jongin.” Sehun takes a pregnant pause, trying to think of how to correctly phrase his feelings for Jongin. “It’s not that I don’t want him because I do. I need him almost as much as I want him. The need to just be around him, to be able to touch him and be stuck in his existence, it overpowers everything that I feel for him.”
Almost forgetting that Jongin was supposed to bring their luggage from the car, Sehun leaves his friend’s side to open the door. When he swings the door open, body pressed halfway into the hallway, he couldn’t see anybody, just the suitcase that was placed down by the half open door.
Sehun almost feels broken, he waited all night for Jongin to show up at his room and his heart tightened when he realized Jongin had stood him up. Sehun enters the café, eyes narrowing at the familiar spot his group of friends occupied and right away his crescents meet Jongin, locking eyes with his boyfriend as he walks closer to where he was seated.
Jongin holds his gaze, hands still placed on the table as he sits his glass back down. Sehun reaches closer until he’s standing beside him and then he easily sits on his lap, Jongin’s arms slip down from the table to lazily hang down by his sides.
“I waited all night for you, it broke my heart when you bailed on our date. Was there a reason you chose to stand me up?” Sehun turns to his side, hand reaching out to caress the side of his face. Jongin shifts in his seat, refusing to make any physical contact.
“Something came up, I was busy.” Jongin stands up, moving to the side and he pushes Sehun’s shoulder, forcing him to sit back down on the chair. “I need to leave, you’re more than welcome to finish my lunch.” Sehun looks at him dumbfounded, not understanding why Jongin is acting so cold towards him.
“What’s wrong with him, did I do something wrong?” Sehun glances down at his shaking hands, tears in the corner of his eyes on the verge of spilling. “He’s been moody as fuck since yesterday, don’t let his mood swings get you down.”
“That’s easy for you to say, you’re not the one he’s taking his frustrations out on.” Sehun lifts his head, eyes going straight to Taemin. “I have been his friend since elementary school and I can tell you that Jongin’s always been this way. One day his mood would be really good, then the next he would be so depressed and I think you can guess who dealt with his mood swings. I would give him some room to breathe, then I would set his ass straight. So you can either let my friend breathe or you can talk to him about what’s going on inside his head. The choice is up to you.”
“Do you have any plans for tonight? I know where there’s a really good party, it could help take your mind off Jongin.” Somehow Sehun doubted a party would make him forget what was really going on with his boyfriend, instead he nods his head feeling defeated.
That’s how Sehun finds himself with his arm locked with Taemin, his best friend walking at a short distance behind them. Sehun allows Taemin to lead him through the front door, then through the crowd of ample sweating bodies over to a table that has opened bottles of liquor and a stack of plastic cups.
“How do you suppose getting me drunk will be enough to distract me?” Sehun fills the cup clasped tightly in his hand, startled a bit when Chanyeol appears on the other side of him.
“Let’s give him some credit where it’s due, at least he’s trying to be there for you. That’s more than I can say for that petty boyfriend of yours, he could have at least returned your call.” Chanyeol whispers into the shell of his ear, speaking low so they didn’t offend their friend.
“I am not trying to defend him, if that’s what your implying. I just think I deserve to know why he’s creating distance and trying to push me away. I want answers and I won’t ever know what’s going on in his head if he doesn’t take the time to talk to me.”
Sehun presses the lid of the cup against his lips, tipping it up as he swallows the liquid down. He reaches for the bottle in the back of stronger liquor, hand clasped around the glass as Taemin reaches out to grab his wrist.
“The objective of tonight is for a distraction, try not to get so wasted that you do something you might regret.” Taemin slowly releases his wrist, letting his hand drop a bit Sehun only pours his glass half full. Chanyeol pulls him away from the table, slowly leading him over to take a seat and that’s when Sehun sees him.
Jongin walks through the door, same girl from the café attached to his arm. He moves his head down to look at her, hand lightly touching her fingers and then she leans in to kiss him on the cheek. Sehun can feel the betrayal that makes his blood boil over, then all he can feel is every emotion overwhelming his body.
“I know you and Taemin had good intentions when you invited me to come tonight. I can’t do this Chanyeol, I really need to get out of here before I say or do something that I can’t take back.” Chanyeol looks at him puzzled, until he looks in the direction of where his best friend is staring.
“Do you want me to come with you?” Chanyeol turns to look at his friend, eyes wondering down to his painfully clenched fists. “I appreciate your concern, I think I just need to be alone.”
Sehun stands up, hands balled by his sides as he tries to make a hasty exit. He barely brushes past Jongin, swinging the door open when fingers tighten around his wrist. Sehun stumbles back, eyes meeting Jongin’s as he holds him in place.
“Let me go.” Sehun nearly whimpers at the touch that makes his skin sting, the burn growing stronger as he tries to free his wrist out of Jongin’s grasp. “I will let you go after we have a talk.” Jongin drags him through the room, up the stairs and then he shoves him into any empty bedroom.
Once the doors closed, Jongin releases his wrist and takes a step back. Sehun doesn’t want to look at him, his eyes shift over his chest until he looks up to meet his gaze. Sehun could feel the emotions flooding through his body until it stings behind his eyes.
“I think we should end things before everything gets to complicated, because then all we will have to remember one another by is how much we grew apart. Let’s do this while we can still stand the site of one another.”
“I wasn’t aware that I hated you. I always wanted to meet my soulbinder, I couldn’t wait for the day that you would come into my life. You were the other half to my soul and I thought I would feel complete once I had you. I never imagined that you would be so complicated, so scared to let anyone close to you. Jongin, you were supposed to give me wings to fly and your fears caused me to drown.”
“Sehun, don’t act like I didn’t try. I told you about the things that scared me, those things I described on our getaway I never even told my best friend about it. I confided to you everything I was scared of and where did it get me? You pretended to like me and as it turns out you never wanted me.”
“Who said I didn’t want you?” Sehun looks at Jongin confused, eyes blinking bitterly at the accusation. “When I brought our luggage to the room, I overheard you telling Chanyeol that you didn’t want me.”
“If you're going to listen to a personal conversation, then you might want to stick around to listen to the whole thing. I was explaining the dynamics of my relationship with you. I said it wasn’t that I didn’t want you because I did, I needed you more than I wanted you.”
“After my father died, my mother was hardly ever at home. I was left alone all the time, she wouldn’t come out and say it, but I don’t think she could stand to look at me because I was a carbon copy of him. I never had anyone to take care of me, I was left to take care of myself and if it wasn’t for Chanyeol I would probably be dead.”
“I struggled for years, I wanted to be worthy to belong somewhere. Then you came into my life, every time I was with you, it felt like home. You sheltered me, made sure you provided for me and you comforted me when I needed you. I wanted you, but I needed you more. A need overpowers a want every single time.”
“I thought you didn’t want me anymore.” Jongin takes a step closer to him, hand reaching out to touch him and Sehun takes a step back. “Honestly, it’s you who didn’t want me anymore. If you did you wouldn’t have ignored me when I begged you to talk to me, instead you brought her here.”
Sehun sprints for the door, getting it halfway open before Jongin grabs him by the shoulder and slams him against the wall. His back hits the wall so hard that the breath gets knocked out of his lungs, causing his fingernails to sink into Jongin’s skin.
Jongin forces his arms above his head, leaning in to slot their lips together. Sehun fights Jongin with each drag of their mouths, he bites Jongin’s bottom lip until his teeth sink into his flesh and blood smears over his teeth.
“Did you just bite me? That fucking hurt.”
“Try to touch me again and me biting you will be the least of your concerns.”
Jongin moves away from Sehun, fingers pressing on his bottom lip to feel the damage. “I am serious, I don’t want you anymore. You rejected me the moment you decided to bring her to the party, you wanted to hurt me and all you have to do to succeed is sleep with her, you know I will feel the pain the moment you stick your cock inside her.”
Sehun squeezes through the door, running down the stairs and out the front door. Sehun could hear Jongin screaming his name when he was running out of the house, so he almost screams when a pair of arms wraps around his shoulders.
“It’s okay, Hun. I got you.” Chanyeol whispers to him, hands slipping under his body as he picks him up. Sehun wraps his arms around his best friend’s neck, head leaning back to weakly stare at him. Sehun can see the concern flooding in his hazel eyes, a sad smile gracing his lips.
Chanyeol walks down the street with him secured tightly in his arms until they come across a public park, then he walks over to a tree and sits down with Sehun placed on his lap. He runs his fingers through Sehun’s damp hair, cradling him the same way he did when he received the first mark on his skin all those years ago.
“Can you make me a promise?” Sehun presses his palm on Chanyeol’s chest, slowly lifting his head as he’s scared of the words that are about to slip out of his mouth. “If you don’t find your soulbinder in the next decade, will you promise to marry me?”
“Do you really want me to marry you or are you just saying it because Jongin broke your heart?”
“I don’t want to be alone for the rest of my life, we are already friends. I have lived almost my whole life with you by my side, I could see spending the rest of it with you.”
“Alright, if I don’t find my soulbinder in the next couple of years, then I will set a date and we will get married.” Chanyeol concedes, hugging his friend closer to his chest as Sehun sobs relentlessly over the loss of losing his soulbinder.
Sehun stays isolated for a couple days inside his dorm room, Chanyeol caters to his needs. He makes sure Sehun eats throughout the day, helps him to the shower so he can wash his body. He leans Sehun on the counter as he maneuvers him into another pair of pajamas and he lends his body to him for comfort throughout the night.
“You can’t hide in here forever, sooner or later, you’re going to have to deal with your problems. You can’t avoid Jongin forever, eventually you will have to face him.” Chanyeol climbs off the bed, walking over to the closet he searches through the clothes hung on the rack.
“I know, I need to get dressed and go to class.” Sehun sits up straight, stretching his arms in the air as Chanyeol tosses clothes on the end of the bed for him to get ready. “I agree, you can’t afford to get too far behind because then it will make it almost impossible to catch up. Why don’t you get dressed and I will buy you some coffee before class starts.”
Sehun was dressed within half an hour, walking beside Chanyeol as they made their way into the coffee shop. He sits down at the table, playing with his fingers while his friend orders them a latte. Sehun gets so lost in his train of thought that he doesn’t notice his friend sitting across the table until he places the cup in front of him.
“So, how are you going to deal with Jongin?”
“I am not going to lie, if I had my way I would completely cut him off. It’s kind of hard since he’s still my dance partner and I doubt our teacher will let us change partners this late into the semester. I will just have to deal with it because there’s nothing I can do to change it.”
“It sucks that there’s not a way to reject your soulbinder, it would make it easier in case you aren’t compatible for one another.”
“You know as well as I do, there’s no way to permanently sever the bond. You just have to learn to live with their emotions entangled with your own. I won’t try again with Jongin. How could I want to be with someone that threw me away?”
“What do you plan to do moving forward?”
“I think I will start by filling out an application for here, they have a help wanted sign on the window. I can work mornings and evenings. It couldn’t hurt since I need the money and I have some free time that I can denote to earn some money.” Sehun blows through the small hole in the lid of his cup, taking a small sip his lips tingle from the warmth.
“You don’t have to work, all you have to do is ask me, I have plenty of money for the both of us.”
“You’re my friend, I don’t want to take advantage of you. Let’s be honest, you aren’t always going to be here to bail me out. At some point in my life, I am going to have to learn to take care of myself. It’s not your job to take care of me and I can’t spend my whole life depending on you. I really appreciate the gesture, but I can’t accept it.”
“Then apply for the job, just don’t let them work you to death. Let me know your schedule, because I want to be able to check on you when I get worried about you.”
Sehun dreads when midnight comes around, he spends most of the night working on his homework assignments. Baekhyun graciously orders some takeout when the hunger gets unbearable, they watch a short movie later that night and then Sehun leaves the room, dreading it when it’s time for him to meet Jongin at the dance studio.
The room is eerily silent the moment he opens the door, the darkness floods his vision and when he glances around the room he can see Jongin’s golden crescents staring back at him. Sehun flips the light switch on, walking over to the chair he takes his coat off and places his phone down.
“Come on, we don’t have all night.” Sehun stands in the middle of the room, arms timidly hanging down by his sides. Jongin walks over to the side table, adjusting the soundtrack before he meets Sehun. Jongin shakenly trails a finger over Sehun’s hand, digits dipping into the creases of his fingers as he grabs his hand.
“I am sorry, I know I messed up. I misunderstood what you were saying, I didn’t let you explain anything to me and I tried to hurt you without thinking of the consequences.” Jongin reaches out to grasp Sehun by the waist, pulling his body until they are pressed flush against one another.
“I know you’re sorry, the problem is I don’t trust you anymore. I feel like everything you told me was a lie and I don’t want you anymore. If I could I would reject you, I hate that I am bonded to you and if I had my way I would erase all these marks off my skin.”
Sehun could feel all of his emotions. The anger when his fingers grip his hips hard enough to leave bruises as he shifts his body from side to side. The sadness from the water that floods behind his eyes, a single tear slowly slips out of the corner of his eye.
“Please, give me another chance. I didn’t sleep with her, after I heard what you said I felt like a complete asshole. I don’t want anyone else, I just want you.”
“You don’t want me fully, you only like being around me because I am your soulbinder. You don’t do relationships, you’re scared that I will leave you at a moment’s notice. You don’t want to commit to me and I don’t want to waste my time trying to change your mind.” Sehun is out of breath by the time Jongin twirls him around and pulls his body back against him.
“I will do anything you want me to do. If you want me to mark you, then tell me when you want me to do it.” Jongin pushes Sehun closer to the floor as he dips his body, slightly bending over him as he stares at him with pleading eyes.
“I want you to be serious, I don’t think you know what you’re offering me. You can’t mark me and then decide because you get mad at me that you can throw me away like trash. Jongin, I don’t think you understand what I want. I want a mate that’s loyal to me, someday I would like to get married and I refuse to be left alone after you get bored of me.”
“I would never get bored of you. I just want to belong to you and I don’t want to see that look in your eyes. You’re ashamed of me, you don’t even want to share an existence with me anymore, let alone breathe the same air.” Jongin hauls Sehun back up, chest brushing against his fast beating heart and he rests his forehead on Sehun.
“I am not embarrassed by you. I feel ashamed by how you treated me. If were being honest, you treated me like one of your one night stands. Think about it for a minute, we had sex while we were gone and the moment we came back you didn’t want anything to do with me. You treated me like a disease that you couldn’t wait to get rid of.”
“Jongin, if you really want me to believe that you want to be with me, then prove to me that you really want me. Claiming you want me and showing me that you want me are very different things.”
“Then how about going on that date with me? You know, the one I promised to take you on?” Jongin teasingly leans in to brush their lips on one another, tongue peeking out to lick the middle of Sehun’s lips.
“I am busy, I don't have the time for dating right how and my schedule is pretty full.”
“What schedule? I thought we had the same one.” Jongin eyes bores into confusion, trying to figure out how Sehun’s schedule could be different from his own. “I applied for a job today, I start tomorrow.”
“Why do you need a job? You could have asked me.”
“I need money to take care of myself, the college tuition for this semester took everything I had saved in my bank account. Chanyeol offered to give me some money, it didn’t feel right to accept his offer. You weren’t speaking to me anymore, we broke up and I am no longer in the position to ask you for anything.”
“I know you want to try again, I don’t think I can do it. I promise I will meet you every night so we can work on our dance routine, but besides our collaboration I don’t want to be around you. I think we need to end things here, I don’t want us to hate one another. Thank you for being my soulbinder, for allowing me to meet you and even though it was short lived, I am glad I got to be a part of your life.”
Sehun leans in to press a soft kiss on Jongin’s mouth, it’s a soft press of his lips. There’s no movement, no tongue is involved and when he shyly pulls back Jongin realizes that Sehun was closing the chapter on their relationship. Sehun leaves him standing there alone as he leaves the room and Jongin does the one thing he’s never done, he whimpers at the rejection of his soulbinder.
Sehun works hard through the rush hour of customers crowding the shop before they close for the night. He finishes cleaning the top of the tables, sticking the tips in his waist apron and gathering the trash to throw away in the bin.
“Do you plan to stay here all night?” Sehun asks his best friend, walking in the direction of the table Chanyeol’s sitting at until he’s standing directly in front of him. Sehun grabs the cup off the table, making his way back over to the counter to refill with fresh coffee.
“You have never worked before, I already told you I want to watch you in case anyone tries to bother you. You really have no idea how many places get robbed or the men that try to hit on vulnerable males such as yourself.”
“It’s thoughtful of you to stick around, but really I don’t need you to protect me. You should head home and get some rest, we both know you will be grumpy tomorrow if you don’t get much sleep.”
The door opens, a group of men in suits walk through the door, taking the last table available. Sehun greets them with a smile, taking a moment to write down their orders of difficult lattes. He balances the hot drinks on a tray, carefully he places them on the table and when he tries to the leave the table he can feel the tug on his sweater.
”You’re pretty, are you new?”
“I appreciate the compliment, I just got out of a very complicated relationship and I am not looking for another one right now.” Sehun tries to gently turn him down, the guy gives a warm smile and his fingers linger for a moment before he pulls his arm back. “I can respect that, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.”
Sehun turns his head at the sound of the door clicking shut, there stands Taemin with Jongin by his side. He could see the way the color of his eyes intensifies, glinting slightly brighter and Sehun didn’t know if it was because he was jealous or some form of unresolved anger.
“Are you on a coffee run this late at night?” Sehun directs his question to Taemin as he approaches the table, trying to avoid looking at Jongin, he glances between Taemin and Chanyeol. “I have a thesis to write, it’s a little more complicated than I thought and I could really use the caffeine.”
Sehun walks over to the counter, stopping mid motion when the feels the burn on the side of his chest. He slips his fingers under the collar of his shirt, slightly pulling the cotton down and he can see the mark starting to etch on his skin. It forms in the shape of a heart, a storm darkening from above and crimson smoke from a slight angle.
By the time he makes it back to the table he's wincing in pain, body slightly shaking in tremors when he places the cups on the table. Chanyeol reaches out to touch his hand, thumb rubbing the middle of his palm. “You’re shaking, are you okay?”
“It hurts, I can manage though.” Chanyeol moves his hand up to his collarbone, fingers shifting over his shirt where his skin was shivering. “I don’t understand, I thought we stopped getting them after we met.” Sehun whispers under his breath, loud enough that all three of them turn to look at him.
“So, who was the guy? You refuse to go on a date with me, but you have no problem flirting with other men.”
“He wasn’t flirting with the customer, he was trying to be polite about turning him down. Sehun’s going to marry me, so it really shouldn’t matter to you what he does.”
Sehun eyes move from looking at Chanyeol over to Jongin and he looks pissed off. The cup in his hand crumbles, falling on the table as the coffee spills. Jongin swiftly stands up, stomping to the door and Taemin apologizes before he runs after his friend.
“Why would you say that with him here? I know we made a promise, but that information is only going to make things worse.”
“Anyone with eyes can see that he still likes you and I have no doubt that you still love him. I just wanted to see him sweat a little bit. Don’t worry, he will come back and I won’t be here when he does.”
Sehun doesn’t really understand why Chanyeol left so fast, leaving him to clean the empty place. He was so occupied cleaning the counters that he didn’t hear the door open, when he turns around he was met by Jongin standing in front of him.
“Why would you agree to marry Chanyeol? You’re just friends and he’s not your soulbinder.” Jongin pushes him against the wall, caging him in as he holds his hands above his head.
“I don’t want to be alone for the rest of my life. You were supposed to be the one I was going to spend it with, the night we broke up I asked Chanyeol if he didn’t find his soulbinder if he would marry me and he agreed.”
“Sehun, I am the only one that has the right to be called your husband. I was serious when I told you I wanted another chance, I still want to take you out for that date. What do I have to do to prove to you that I am serious? Will marking you be enough to show you how much I want you?”
Jongin leans in closer, lips brushing over the side of his jaw and then there’s a slow drag down the sensitive skin on his neck. “Let me know when I find the perfect spot, when you tell me to stop I am going to sink my teeth into you.”
Sehun pushes his fingers into Jongin’s shoulders, slanting his head to the side to give him more access to his neck. “Stop, that’s where I want you to mark me.” Jongin parts his lips, he clamps his teeth against the skin and his sharp teeth pierces into his flesh. Sehun lets out a small groan, eyes closing on their own accord as Jongin laps at the blood dripping down his neck.
