Summary:
Happy New Year! Not an extra chapter, but I wanted to share this beautiful art I commissioned from @asoiafattherite on twitter (@riotarttherite on tumblr). It's a glimpse into the future, when Baelon is serving as Hand of the King Viserra is Lady of Dragonstone. Relaxing in the Stone Drum after a long day of saving Daemon from himself, probably 😜
There are so many little details I love: Viserra's fox necklace, Baelon's Hand of the King chain, the nose rings they got after being married (fun fact, that's a nod to my own culture where it's customary for a woman to get her nose pierced only when she gets married!), the Dragonstone Throne/Aegon's chair they're sitting on, Viserra growing her hair out again... so much to love. Baelon's sunkissed skin from being out in the training yard all his life minding MEN'S business 😍 Elena is amazing to work with as well, so commission her for all your asoiaf needs!
