Summary
Amoric horror is horror based on love.
It's letting go of the hope of escape in order to dedicate oneself to the nuances of bearing up under strain. It's trust misused, touch tainted, intimacy made a burden.
It's fear so intricate it’s indistinguishable from beauty, and beauty so unbearable it’s indistinguishable from fear. It's when you get home and the worst thing in the world awaits you with a smile and a kiss.
Domestic violence in media is often played for angst or drama, sometimes for recovery, occasionally (and regrettably) for a cheap laugh. This collection is for the times it's played for fear.
