Phil is a hugger, no matter where you are, but sleeping with him entails you being held as closely as possible.
__
The normal sleeping attire is ever changing and almost never is the same two nights in a row.
__
he wakes up sometimes thinking he needs to check on someone, he never says who but you’re pretty sure it’s wilbur or techno he has in mind.
__
there’s a whole routine he has to follow: hat of first, then whatever outer layer he’s wearing, then nightly grooming (tooth brushing, hair brushing, stuff like that) then undressing/ changing into pj’s, and finally actually fitting into bed.
__
phil is all about routine, so if this is broken or interrupted he could start the whole thing over or just whatever step he was on.
__
routine flies out of the window once he’s actually in bed with you.
__
no “we have this set of time before we go to sleep” or “this position first”
__
talking can go on for hours, just catching up eachother on your days or what you’ve thought about or a dream you’ve been focused on
__
although he isn’t picky, he really likes when he can hold you.
__
its not specifically spooning though, he doesn’t really care about that much. just as long as he can protect you in his own way
