Toriel x Male Reader (Lemon)

Chapter 7: Ending G (Warning, doesn't need to be read)

Chapter Text

Okay, I know you guys probably don't wanna see th-Wait why are you here if you don't wanna read this? Why am I typing that out? You must've been curious or something.

... Mandatory Disclaimer: There won't be gore, but... there will be dark and sad tones, also this will be longer than the last two.

So, this was a little awkward. Why? Well, maybe it was the random kid that Toriel had decided to take home. Not that you had a problem with the kid, but to just suddenly have one appear out of nowhere was something you hadn't prepared for.

From what you had heard from Toriel, she found at the cave flowerbed you fell on when coming there. That got you a little concerned.

For one thing, it took you the better part of an hour just to get up there in the first place so you couldn't imagine them going through that. Two, you were an eighteen-year-old boy, and they were a short seven- to ten-year-old toddler, so it may have been less painful for your fall, but it had to be more for theirs. Three, following the last point, why were they just wandering alone around the mountain to begin with? It didn't make sense.

You tried to ask them some questions, but they haven't given you any direct or non-vague answers... in fact, they haven't said a word to you at all. They've just been quiet ever since. Just... stares, creepily. And it hasn't been a full day since they got there. The most you got out of them was their name.

Frisk.

You were sitting at the table with the kid to your right. They were drawing a picture of something, like always, quiet. Not even humming to themself. Well, it couldn't hurt to try and start a conversation, right?

"So, uh... whatcha drawing there?" You say, grabbing their attention.

They looked up at you, then picked up the drawing and showed you. It was of a yellow flower with a smiling face on it and a red heart above it.

"Aw, that's adorable. You are one talented artist." You say as they smiled at you before you patted them on the head.

They still didn't say anything, just again, stared with that creepy blank look. Like it or not, you had to get used to them being around. Sure, maybe you wouldn't be able to have 'fun' with Toriel as much as you used to... but hey, at least there was more company. Plus, it's not like you were someone who couldn't go a day without having sex.

(Next Day)

You were out walking around the ruins, just exercising a bit and even getting to see the other monsters and how they were doing. However, something was wrong.

Wherever you went, where you had gone, the place was... empty. No monsters in sight. Not even the spiders at the shop were there to greet you. It was really strange. You had expected at least someone to be around, surely. Where could they have all gone?

Then you stopped and looked harder around. There was some bits of dust on the ground. As if things weren't strange enough for you. Maybe someone forgot to sweep or something?

Then you looked closer and saw robes strewn across the floor. You recognized these robes as the ones that the froggit would wear. You got confused and knelt down, picking one up. As you did, dust came out of it as well. Your brow furrowed as you started to think about why these were just left alone, covered in dust... dust... dust...

When monsters die they turn to........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Your eyes widened...

Dropping the robe, you ran back home... back to her as fast as you could. You were right to think something was wrong. Whatever did this... they could still be there, and you had to get back before it got to her.

"Tori!? Frisk!?" You called while running around the place. "Toriel!? Where are you!?" You called again, getting no answer.

Where could they have gone? There was almost nowhere for them to go with such a tiny place.

You looked everywhere, wondering where they could be... everywhere except one place. The hallway. As much as you hated the idea of having to run down that long hall, you had to suck it up if you wanted to find out where they were.

So, readying yourself, you went downstairs and started running. The quakes had stopped by now, so you hoped that things weren't bad. You stopped right at the end and had to take a moment to catch your breath, about to turn the corner, only to stop and hide behind it.

You looked around it. You didn't see Toriel, but you saw Frisk. They were stepping through a big door that you hadn't seen before. You wanted to go confront them but stopped. As you saw the door close behind them, you couldn't help but notice something in their hand. It was a toy knife.

Once they were gone, you stepped out from your hiding place and began to make your way to the door to catch up to them, but then stopped when you looked down. Then your eyes widened...

Lying there on the ground was... Toriel's robe... lying in a pile of dust.

It was them... they were the one who did it... the one who dusted all the monsters in the ruins... the one who deceived you into thinking they were just some kid... the one who took her away from you.

Tears welled up in your eyes as you fell to your knees... she was gone... and this was all that was left of her...

Why... why didn't they attack you?... Why didn't they killed you too? At least you could've been with her.

You slowly reached out... then you heard something. It was muffled crying. You pulled the robe away and then stared in amazement at what you were seeing. Lying in the pile of her dust were two infants. A baby goat, and a baby human. Not just any infants. They... were your children, still alive.

Still crying, you picked them up and held them in your arms. That seemed to calm them down and they nuzzled into your hold. You couldn't hold it in anymore and started sobbing while clutching them close to you.

After some hours later, you stepped out of the ruins. As you entered a snowy biome, you held the twins close to you, wrapped in her robe. It may have been freezing but, wherever you were going, you couldn't go back just yet. Not under the chance of that... brat coming back. Wherever you went now, you needed to find somewhere to go.

As you were walking, you were suddenly stopped by bars of bones emerging from the earth.

"Hey, where're you going, bud?" You froze as you heard a deep voice from behind. "Don't you know it's rude not to greet an old pal?"

You slowly turned around, fearing the worst. Standing just afar from you was... a short skeleton in a hoodie who was smiling widely and had a fierce gaze. You could... feel the anger brewing off of him.

"What? Not even gonna say hello?" He asks. "That kid that came through here... you wouldn't happen to know them would you?"

You were afraid to move from that spot. You knew he thought you were in cahoots with them. They did something surely, and now...

Then the skeleton looked in your arms and saw your kids. His eyes softened while his smile remaining the same. The anger you felt from him was suddenly gone as he slowly approached you. Looking at the kids, he reached up and petted the goat baby who flinched a bit. Then he pulled back before looking up at you.

"You're... different." He said.

You looked at him, then held your kids closer.

"... Listen, we can't talk here. Come with me." He says while waving you to follow him. "I have a shortcut to somewhere safe."

You took another look at him, then at your children. If he was telling the truth, then... you had to trust him.

After a small talk, you got to learn a few things. First, you arrived in a bunker with many monsters that was said to be made by their scientist Alphys. Second, you got to learn that the skeleton's name was Sans and... well he told you what you weren't there for.

In just the few hours you had spent tending to the twins, Frisk had gone rampant around the underground. They slaughtered hundreds of monsters including the leader of the royal guard Undyne, and they were still going.

This was... insane. How could a child be capable of doing so much? Let alone something so evil? Why were they doing this? What is their goal? Whatever it was it made the remaining monsters in the bunker fear being around you.

Thankfully Sans, Alphys, and a few other monsters were kind to you and even helping with your kids. All you and the others could do was hope that this kid could be stopped. Surely, they could right?... there had to be a way.

"Hey, kid! Come over here!" You perked up at Sans as you were just finished giving your kids their milk bottles. "Alphys needs you for something."

"Well, can it wait?" You asked before he gave you a stern gaze. "Oh, for the love, fine."

Putting your kids back in their cribs, you followed him out of the room. You went into one of the rooms and saw Alphys there before she went up to you.

"(Y/N), good to see you here." She says. "I've been monitoring the other human and they're just reaching Mettaton just now. I don't know how long he'll be able to hold them off for so I'm gonna get to the point."

"What? What's up?"

"Listen, the way this human is likely getting this far is because... well, their determination." She says which made you confused. "It's hard to explain, but depending on the human soul, they have different attributes to them. In this one's case, their determination gives them to power to in other words try again."

"Try again? Like rewind time?"

"It's not easy to explain. It's merely just a theory. Though, Sans has been reporting things happening that felt... familiar lately."

You looked at Sans. He was still smiling, but in his eyes, you could see hurt. You felt bad for him.

"(Y/N), I've looked over a scan I had previously done on you and..." Alphys says, catching you off guard. "I know, I'm sorry for doing it without telling you, but look here." She showed you a picture.

You took a look at it. It looked like an xray, only there was no skeleton. Only a red glow that looked like a heart.

"W-What is this."

"That's your soul. You have determination." She says which made you look baffled. "Only it's not enough. They have stronger determination than you do, so we might not be able to do much."

"Are you saying you want me to fight this... thing?"

"Not yet." Sans tells you. "But there might be a solution."

"What solution?"

He looked at you. "Follow me." He then started walking again as you followed.

Turning the corner, you appeared in a strange corridor that had light coming through the windows. As you walked around, you wondered just where you were.

"Do you know what EXP means, bud?" Sans said as you turned to him. "It's an acronym... short for 'execution points'."

"What?" You asked, confused.

"Yeah... do you know LV means?" He asked as you looked confused again. "Love of course." You calmed down for a moment. "Which is another acronym for 'level of violence'." You then felt dread. "The more EXP you gain, the more your LV goes up, and you get stronger. That's what the kid is getting."

That's it? The more monsters they defeat, the stronger they get?... That's why...

"But unlike them... you never gained any LV or EXP... maybe that's why I didn't kill you on the spot." He says as you continued to stare. "You didn't kill anyone... but like me... you had someone taken from you as well."

Toriel... god thinking about her stings now. He really knows how read you like a book... he turned to the other end of the corridor.

"They're here... I'll hold them off for as long as I can. Go to King Asgore and talk to him. He'll tell you what to do."

Looking at him, then the end of the corridor, you nodded before you started to leave. You took one last glance back, seeing him take out a red scarf and wrap it around his neck. After this... if there was an after, you owed him something.

Walking into a room filled with flowers and a throne, there sat a man that looked familiar. A goat that... looked almost like Toriel with golden hair and a beard, drinking tea. He sighed, placing the cup on a nearby table before standing up and walking to you.

He stood over you with a soft gaze. One that seemed all too familiar to you and made your heart ache.

"So, you're the human." He asked as you nodded. He sighed through his nose. "Come with me."

He lead you through a small hallway, past the barrier which you got a small glance at. Entering a room, you saw seven containers. Six had three glowing hearts of different colors, one remained empty.

"These are the souls of the previous humans that fell down here. I have been keeping them in hopes that once the seventh came... perhaps we could use them to free us from this place."

Hearing that, you turned to him with a shocked look. "Did... did you-"

"Yes... unfortunately I did." He says before looking to you. "Listen, I've done many things I regret, but now... for the sake of those remaining here in the underground, I ask that if I fall that you do as you can to protect everyone here and get them out of this place. Even if it means going to drastic measures."

"What do you-"

"Take the souls... after that, get rid of that thing."

With that, he left the room. Leaving you alone with the souls.

Right now, you couldn't believe what was happening. First it was living in the ruins with a monster you fell for, then becoming a father... how did it all go to you suddenly needing to save the world like this?

You approached the souls. The glow seemed to become brighter as you got close to them. They knew you were there. You could feel the warmth from them. Part of you made you think that maybe you shouldn't do this. Maybe there was another way.

The bigger part of you though, couldn't stop thinking about what that freak did. They took Toriel away from you, left your children motherless, and now were taking more lives. How many more innocent lives were they gonna take if you didn't do something? Would they even stop at just the underground? What if they got to the surface? What if they found the survivors? What if... they found... your kids?

You made up your mind at that point.

You went one by one to each soul and released them. Once they were all free, they all circled around you. A red glow came from your chest as they all slowly approached you and you welcomed them. They knew what to do...

Frisk was standing over a pile of dust with a crown and cape. Standing over a flower that was slashed and destroyed. They were finished... now would be time for-

... They stood in shock, wondering what just happened. Then they heard footsteps as they looked up. A being walked around the corner and walked up, standing in front of them. This was you.

Your sclera was blacked out and your irises were now glowing white. In your hands were two white swords. Your face had markings on them.

They stared... knowing what you did, they gripped the knife they held as you stared with a stern gaze.

"It's time I give you a truly bad time."

And so, you charged forward as they did. You were filled with more determination than they were now and you were going to end this freak of nature before it did anymore damage.

The fight began...

You swung your blades at it... causing it to shatter into pieces and disappear... never to come back.

Then you waited... and waited... and waited... and waited... and waited...

You've waited for what felt like forever... It was over... you had done it... you put an end to them... and now... they could finally rest in piece... everyone... including her...

... There was one thing left to do now. You went to the barrier. You channeled all the power you had thanks to the souls... then you did what you had to do.

(5 Years Later)

Things were... something... at least better than they were back then. You were sitting in your new home, resting on the couch. Lying beside you were your kids who had gotten older over the years. You hardly left their side aside from having to go to work and take them to school, or whenever you'd take them to Alphys for a babysitter.

They were all you had left of her. The only thing you saw worth living for. God forbid you let anything happen to them. And now, she can rest in peace, knowing that the monster that almost destroyed her world was now gone.

You looked at the box sitting on a shelf. It had her dust in it. Sometimes you'd talk to it as if she'd talk back. You held onto the kids, pulling them closer to you. You'll be with her again, you were sure of it. Until then... they were ones who needed you right now.

Bad end

Yeah, okay, I am not gonna be doing multiple endings like this again. I get way too carried away with stuff like this.

I don't know, maybe if I feel like it, I'll do a bonus chapter or... a non-canon version with a different AU like Underfell, IDFK.

All I know is that I am not gonna another multi ending like this again... thank you all reading.
