Bruno soon discovers that Yusei managed to learn all these skills from someone else, rather than being entirely self taught like he thought, so he asks if it is alright to meet this person.
Problem?
Almost everything.
First of all, Kiryu has little to no clue that Bruno exists, let alone the condition he has and vice versa. Had it been Crow or Jack asking to go, he would have no problem but here he was backed into a corner.
