Chapter Text
"Venus, it's time for me to return home. Not to earth, but to Siris." Izuku announced one day. He had been thinking about it for a few days now.
"May I ask why?" The AI asked him, curious.
"Because I need to take back my home planet. The Avians need to know that they can't take whatever they want!" he told her.
"Very well, I will plot a course for Siris. And Izuku?"
"Yes?"
"Your parents would be proud."
He smiled softly before walking out of the cockpit and into the library.
Izuku strode over to a secret door that looked like a book shelf and opened it. Inside was a small room he used as his bedroom and a place where he could broadcast his voice out over the entire universe.
For the first time in his entire life, he stepped into the small recording booth. He had planned to give a message to all the Sirens that were out there in the world. At least the ones that were left.
Izuku sat down in the chair and decided on singing the message, the message that was so close to his heart. A message that his parents would recognize.
He turned on the broadcast machine and after a minute he spoke.
"If you can hear this, I need to give you a message. You may not know me, I don't really know you either. But I need you to do something for me, I need you to believe and have hope. Can you do that? Good. There are people out there with voices that need to be heard, our voices. I am speaking for the last of my kind. I am speaking for the last of the Sirens. I, am speaking for my parents.
"If you're out there, then you know this song by heart. Please hear this message from me and sing from deep within your soul." Izuku broadcasted. Then... he sang.
" I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, "I'll never let you go."
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, "Don't leave me here alone,"
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight"
On another planet a galaxy away, two people stared at the radio, tears in their eyes, hearts full of hope and relief.
They began to sing softly.
"Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound"
By the end of the song they were both sobbing, tears of joy ran down their faces.
"Our beautiful baby boy..."
"Our beautiful star child..."
"We love you..."
"Son..."
