Chapter Text
Evan and Mir were walking down a lone dirt path when Mir's stomach roared. The grumbling tummy was so loud the nearby small monsters ran to hide. Both Evan and Mir stared at each other in astonishment. Then Evan was cackling in delight while Mir grimaced in embarrassment.
"Really?!" The boy wheezed. "We just ate an hour ago, Mir!"
The little dragon huffed, slapping his friend on the head with his wing. "I can't help it. I'm still hungry."
"Mir, you ate two barrels of fish," Evan pointed out.
"So? I'm a growing Dragon, y'know!" Mir crossed his arms and turned away from his human.
The young mage snorted. "Keep eating and you'll grow wider not taller."
Mir gasped sharply, highly offended. "Are you calling me fat!?"
Evan smirked. "And if I am?"
"Then I'll have no other choice . . . but to eat you!" Mir growled playfully.
Evan shrieked before racing down the pathway. Mir hot on his heels. Laughter bubbled up within him as he ran from his dragon friend.
