Chapter Text
After a long talk between Tonio and Buccellati, they reluctantly agreed to allow the cook to return to Japan with his brother. Tonio promising not to let Massimo out of his sight and keep him all day and night in the kitchen, until he would have learned his lesson.
Kocaqi had confessed to manipulating Fugo with his stand, Rainy day Dream away, for which he promptly received the beating of his life from a very protective mother. Before being sent away to an elderly home which, as everyone knows, it’s worse than being sent into the afterlife.
Angelica and Vittorio were also sent to a rehabilitation center, since they were still minors and Giorno didn’t know what else to do with them.
Sheila E. started a “Fugonara” fanclub as to pass her spare time, when she wasn’t on missions or threating mob bosses for her fund-raiser.
Cannolo opened up a small business as a fortune teller, one of his main clients becoming none other than Mista, who was just as superstitious as the man himself.
Polnareff moved permanently to Florida and among the first things he had gotten used to, while living in the US was being called Uncle Jean. His body had been healed and after a while he could walk just with a cane most of the time. To Jotaro’s annoyance he had also started teaching Jolyne French. So they could gossip him behind and in front his back!
Jotaro, while not being able to be around his daughter all the time, still managed to visit her at least once a month and keep in touch with her and his wife(Polnareff made sure to nag him about it so he wouldn’t forget)
Rumors began spreading in Rome about a man who had died in the cannels and a pink haired boy who would talk to frogs and be looking for his “boss”. Yet none of them had ever been confirmed.
When Secco wasn’t scavenging the city in search of Cioccolata, he was updating his BTS blog dedicated to Suga, which was called Suga’sfilthysock6969.
Neither Carne nor his stand Motto Motto were to be ever heard of again, as they died truly tragic and meaningful deaths.
Tiziano and Squalo, after having a long fight about which last name they should go with, Tiziano wanting Squalo’s and Squalo Tiziano’s , finally decided to just go with both and got married. They also had a fight about which name should be first, but that is a story for another time ;) The two also took out Narancia and his loving boyfriend on fishing trips once at two weekends so that they could get to know each other better.
Risotto and Prosciutto spent a quiet and happy life as they retired at their beach house in Sardinia, along with Pesci who became a real fisherman.
After Melone was admitted out of the hospital, together with Ghiaccio, the two also moved in Sardinia, buying the house next door from Risotto’s.
Illuso in spite of being defeated by a worthy opponent, did not give up on his dream and continued to haunt mirrors, challenging random people. He too though, moved to Sardinia.
And once Formaggio branched out his miniature business to the island, the La Squadra was once again reunited. Living in peace after properly mourning their two, lost comrades.
Trish followed her dream and became a pop-star and just at the age of fifteen! Still, at Buccellati’s insistencies she continued her studies, even taking a textbook with her whenever she would go on a tournament. She also officially and permanently moved in with the rest of the gang, receiving a more than warm welcoming from them.
In the end Fugo and Narancia didn’t end up adopting a panda bear, as they didn’t have the means to offer it a proper shelter or climate. So they settled instead on visiting the animals at the zoo. Fugo promised Narancia that he would try to be a better boyfriend and show his affection more often. For which he only received a giggle. Narancia too promised him that he would study harder and not give up.
Buccellati was named second in command and succeeded with Giorno in their fight against the drug traffic, putting an end to it once and for all. After many years, it felt as if a weight had been lifted off his chest. After their victory, Buccellati found himself with a lot of time on his hands, so he decided to spend it volunteering at adoption centers, rehabilitation centers, kindergartens, anything that meant interacting with children! And of course he was accompanied by his husband to all those activities.
Abbacchio, still refused to respond to Giorno whenever he would call him Dad. Yet it had been obvious to everyone, that he had greatly warmed up to the teen. He may or may not have been caught a few times returning a hug from Giorno, but he would immediately retort with something along the lines of wanting to choke him.
After officially announcing that they became a couple, Mista unceremoniously, more or less, moved into Giorno’s room. Which was not viewed as something bad at first by the others. Until they couldn’t take any more of the sounds they were hearing at night. It soon became a house rule that Mista would be forbidden from going into Giorno’s bedroom or vice-versa after 8 o’clock. On the bright side however, Mista’s smell had changed exponentially after starting to date Giorno, as the blonde made it his duty to make sure that Mista would take a shower once a day and use only the most expensive of colognes from Gucci.
To Giorno the life of a mafia boss quickly became a routine, one which he enjoyed to the most and took very seriously, as it was the very thing he aspired for most of his life and obtained with the help of the people most important to him. Some time that year he would get invited to what would eventually become the Joestar family’s yearly reunion. He would get to see some old faces. And meet a lot of new ones! He would get to hear a lot of bizarre stories about his family and learn many things about them, about himself. And he would find that he fitted in right there, that they were like him, they understood him. But, he didn't want to remain with them. After all…
Giorno already had a place where he belonged to.
