Chapter Text
There are few words I can say at this point that I haven't said along the way, but I'd like to thank the cast and crew for everything they've done to adapt this universe into what I feel is the best dramatic medium in existence. It shouldn't come as any surprise that my favorite adaptation of Good Omens itself is the BBC Radio 4 production that was released not long before Sir Terry Pratchett died.
I didn't think I'd see an audio adaptation of this in my lifetime, not least because I had just gotten diagnosed with cancer when this project was kicking off. I make no secret that I was in a dark place in late 2019. The progress of this project kept me engaged.
There were several attempts to podfic this a decade ago, even as I was still writing it. While they were wonderful attempts, some of which you can even still find floating around out there in the GO fandom aether, none of them captured more than the first handful of stories (or chapters, as they're posted here in their AO3 incarnation; the series started its life on LiveJournal).
It has been an honor to work with all of you, as well as to survive and see this to completion. If the worst should happen to me, these words, at least, are the best of me. Thank you for bringing them to life.
With love,
irisbleufic
