And I’m always hungry
Who am I?

IDGAF:

IDK:

IDGAF:
not sure what’s more funny
kook refraining himself from answering to that so he can get food
or the fact i can imagine you having that revelation
in the middle of the sidewalk
like it were some sort of existential doubt
but actually looking like an idiot

HDR:
Why do you only type paragraphs when mocking me?

IDGAF:

IDK:
#friendshipgoals

HDR:
Smack him

IDGAF:
way ahead of you

Yoongi barely registers the sound of the front door opening when he sees a shadow run by the living room towards the door. Next thing he hears is Seokjin complaining that he has “such an ungrateful brat for a little brother” so loud that he thinks is a miracle they haven’t yet been kicked out from the building. He then remembers that the first thing Seokjin did when moving in was befriend the owner and their closest neighbors –probably because the two of them got several complaints from the people in their previous apartment building.

Jungkook flops on the floor and sets his food on the coffee table, taking small bites of it while choosing a movie to watch on TV. The couch in which Yoongi is seated dips next to him and he turns to see Seokjin handing him a plate with his lunch. As Yoongi accepts it, Seokjin pats his head and they both still, but for different reasons.

“You could’ve just asked instead of using it.”

“Well, would you have told me if I had?” Seokjin glances at him from the corner of his eye as he accommodates his own plate over his lap. “So, you were at the bridge?”

Yoongi signals with his head to the notebook lying on the floor next to his feet. “Just trying to finish some songs, that’s all. Hopefully I’ll finish that assignment before Thursday.”

The oldest hums, satisfied with his answer. His lips then quirk into a grin and Yoongi knows that whatever he’ll say next won’t be good.

“You were also standing outside the building when Jungkook asked for lunch, then you kept walking to the park.”

“Wait, what?” Jungkook turns around to face his hyungs, mouth filled with food that he tries to swallow quickly in order to keep talking. “Hyung! Did you really run to the park to avoid making me lunch?”

Yoongi ignores Jungkook’s complaints and instead glares at his so called best friend, seething under his breath. “I hate you and your ability.”

“I’ll have you know that my ability helped find a kidnapped little boy this morning,” Seokjin grins and slurps loudly on his noodles while facing Yoongi, enjoying the scrunch of his nose in reaction to the noise.

Jungkook turns around once more, always eager to hear about Seokjin’s work. With being a police officer, comes having to deal with the worst of humanity, but it also has its good parts which is protecting and helping people. And also there is the fun part, which is Jungkook’s favorite, like when his hyung and his superior responded to a call a week after Seokjin had been assigned to Yongsan station where he’s been working the past two years.

Some guy that had the ability to transform into a cat had been following a girl (that later they found was his ex, which had a restraining order against him) when a dog much bigger than he was started chasing him. In his attempt to escape, he had climbed a tree but was unable to come down afterwards. At first it was because the dog was still patiently waiting by the tree, and afterwards, when he reached his time limit, he couldn’t climb down because there were no branches for him to use. He had no choice but to call the emergency number to help him down.

Seokjin had watched the entire process, trying his best not to laugh as the cat-guy clinged onto the fireman for dear life while going down the ladder. Seokjin’s superior had excused himself momentarily, saying he had a call to make, but Seokjin knew he had left so he could laugh. He came back in time for the fireman to turn the rescued to them so he could be escorted to the station. He had broken the law, after all.

Point is, when the fire truck had arrived, some curious neighbors had gone out and recorded the entire process. While Seokjin had been telling the story, Jungkook had been looking for the video to download it, because, who doesn’t like a good laugh from time to time?

“Gguk? What are you laughing at?”

Jungkook blinks back to reality, realizing he hadn’t been chuckling in his mind only and that his hyungs are staring at him with raised eyebrows. “Uh, just remembering about the cat-guy. Anyway, what happened today?”

“Right! There was a kidnap attempt at a convenience store. Luckily, an employee took notice of it quickly and stopped the guy from leaving the store with the kid. They called the police and all, and noticed the kidnapper had dropped some sort of keychain.”

“That’s when they called you, right?”

Seokjin nods at Jungkook as he takes a sip of apple juice. “Used my ability on it and saw the place where it had been used. Once there, we captured the criminals and found a boy that had been taken three days ago.”

Both his dongsaengs congratulate him on a job well done and Seokjin smiles at them, still feeling content for helping reunite a five year old kid with his family. Every time he helps bring a child back to their family or guardian, Seokjin’s memories resurface, making him remember how he met Jungkook. A glance to his left indicates him that it’s exactly what Yoongi is thinking as well since that day at the park is where they met Yoongi as well.

It wasn’t a pleasant event, especially for Jungkook, but in the end it brought them together. Jungkook gained a new family, Yoongi made his first real friend and Seokjin, who until then had been an only child, received a lovely little brother and a trustworthy best friend.

“So, there’s this new horror movie we could watch–”

“Aish, Jungkook-ah, why horror?”

“But, Yoongi-hyung, it’s not that scary. I promise!”

“Then you can watch it with Jin-hyung while I go finish that assignment.”

Well… Lovely and trustworthy most of the times.

Notes:

Look at me having Seokjin being part of the mafia controlling most of Korea in one fic and having him be a respectable police officer in the next one ;D

Anyway, if you reached here, thanks for reading! Will try to revive this and post more often~

And, as always, have a nice day =w=

Notes:

So yeah!

I have a lot of random scattered dialogs for this fic that I'll eventually accommodate somewhere, so if you have any ideas be free to share ;D

Thanks for reading it! Have some ice cream (or hot chocolate if it's winter where you live) in gratitude~

And, as always, have a nice day =w=
