But if they didn’t like her so much, then they suppose they wouldn’t be doing it at all. “There is something that I wanted to talk to you about.” They finally say, lacing their fingers together under the table and watching Himiko’s expression shift from worry to curiosity. She doesn’t speak, but her eyes shift slightly, as though urging them to continue. “It pertains to… our relationship. So to speak,” they add quickly, in case relationship is too serious a word to use to describe what they have going on.
Thankfully, Himiko appears unbothered.
