So my theory goes that the Hero Commission is actually the one that set up Endeavor’s quirk marriage.
From what I can gather about Hawks is that he was trained from a very young age to be a hero and that the popular opinion is that the Hero Commission was involved.
I believe that the Hero Commission wants a hero that they can control in the top rankings. But almost all the rankings are dominated by U. A. Grads. I would agree with anyone that messing with Nedzu would be a very bad idea.
Enji’s father (who is part of the Commission) puts into his head that being #1 is everything. He’s so close to that goal when All Might comes back from America and conquers the rankings.
The Commission deems Endeavor a failure and arrange his marriage to try again with the next generation.
The core of my theory is that the reason Endeavor trained his children so hard is that the Commission would take them away to train them themselves if they weren’t up to their standards.
I know. I know. I seem crazy. But if you look at how Endeavor acts after Shouto gets into U. A. compared to when he was a child there is a major difference. U. A. takes over training Shouto. It’s too late for the Commission to take him.
Natsuo’s and Fuyumi’s quirks are too “weak” for them to become heroes so they get to be civilians. We all know that Touya is Dabi. The theory going around for his scars is that his quirk is too strong for his body. I’m also taking the law from “Conversations with a Cryptid” that only heroes get to use support items. Endeavor pushed Touya too hard to get into hero school to legally get the items, causing Touya to run away. Endeavor is really shitty at communication though because of how he was raised.
The Commission kept pushing until Endeavor snapped. Endeavor snapping is what caused Rei to snap.
