Virgil...enjoyed Roman. For a lack of a better word. What he didn't enjoy was morning Roman. Where Virgil woke up grumpy and ready to fight, Roman woke up cheerful and loud .
So, it wasn't unusual for Roman to piss Virgil off before the day had even started.
This morning, it appeared, would be no different. He trudged out of bed and down to the kitchen, rolling his eyes when Roman spun to him, “My stormcloud!”
Virgil flinched from the volume but took solace in Logan's equally irritated growl over his coffee.
“I started some coffee for you, since Lo drank the last pot.”
Virgil managed to reach the entrance to the kitchen before Roman blocked his path. He had that annoyingly cute, smug little smirk on his face, eyes shining the way they did when he was eagerly waiting for something.
“ Don't be an ass. ” Virgil tried to sidestep him but Roman blocked his path again.
“It's a simple price, dear.” He crooned softly.
Virgil grumbled and rolled his eyes, kissing Roman softly, “And there'll be more after coffee, deal?”
Roman beamed brightly, like a child who got their way, “Deal.” he wrapped his arms around Virgil's waist, slowly and gracefully lifting Virgil to spin him into the kitchen. Virgil appreciated that Roman took spins slower for him. He didnt exactly enjoy panicking first thing in the morning.
Roman gently deposited him in front of the coffee machine, kissing his temple and flitting away, no doubt to wake up Patton.
Virgil smiled fondly as he poured his coffee, pouring in his sugar and turning to look at the stairs with a fond grin as Patton's soft squeal echoed down.
