IFly here. Some of you don't know me, but many of you will remember me as EvenThoughIDied from a previous account I had on here. I collaborated with ASL on a 3 part ABCDeath Note series at that time that we both greatly enjoyed. It has since been deleted and restarted by ASL (more on that in a moment)
Since the deletion of my previous account, there's been much speculation as to what happened and even a bit of good old fashioned drama. I want to try and explain what happened and how it all led to this author's Note.
I did not delete my account. It was deleted without my knowledge. That person then verbally attacked ALS in the Tumblr messaging app we used to communicate. All of this happened under my nose because I was hospitalized with a brain infection at the time. I didn't know who or where I was. I had to relearn how to eat, tell time, read, etc. It was a nightmare.
ALS didn't know what to think of this except that I had gone nuts and was destroying our friendship. She was understandably hurt. In that pain, she deleted our story because it was too hard to continue on.
I reached out months later after finding the messages and apologized to her for that person's abhorrent behavior. She then explained her side of things, and everything clicked. A good friendship was destroyed by the shitty actions of another person, and I'm hoping with ALS's and your help to make that right.
I lost many readers when it was thought I acted out against ALS and when I came back under a new name, I was not easily welcomed back into the fold because of these misconceptions. I am forever thankful that ALS has welcomed me back with open arms and is trusting me once again. I hope some of you choose to do the same.
