Summary
Remember that scene in Captain America: Civil War where Miriam Spencer (the mother of Charlie Spencer) confronts Tony in the hallway after his MIT speech, accuses him of only ever fighting for himself and lays all of the blame for her son's death at his feet? That confrontation, to me, felt like one of the crueler moments of the movie, and I've been wanting to fix some of the damage done to Tony by that particular conversation. Here's my attempt.
