Chapter Text
He tied my hands behind my back and threw me into the car, making me adjust so that when he slammed the door my feet were not caught up in it, like it was almost rehurst. He drove to my motel that he had stuck me in again. I never knew where he stayed, but I bet it was better than the dumps I was in. During the ride I was able to sit up, still working on that. When he parked the car we opened his door, then slammed it, he then opened my door and yanked me out by the arm, almost hitting my head on the car again.
He yanked me to my room and opened it. His fingers laced through my hair and shoved me inside. My head hit the floor but not as hard as it has. “Better be up by 5 tomorrow night or else you’ll regret it even more.” He hissed at me. I turned to face him just in time for him to slam another door.
I woke up with my breath hooking.
“Oh, i’m sorry.” Suzy said. “I just wanted to close your door cause I didn"t want to wake you.”
“No worries, Suz.” I responded, trying to get my mind off the dream.
“Did you have another dream?” she asked sweetly.
“Yeah.” I admitted. “It’s just that this time it felt like it was happening again.”
“It was just a dream, remember.” she said. “It may have happened in the past but you’re safe here.”
“Hey suz?” I asked before she left.
“Yeah?”
“Can I possibly-” I tried to thing through this impulse decision. “tell you about my dream?”
“Only if you want to.” she said, sitting on the end of the bed.

“Dan, you need to figure out what is going on.” Arin said. “I know that it isn"t just Chris Hemsworth in your dreams.”
“How do you know?” I shot back
“Cause I know dreams aren’t just a still shot of an actor. Please tell me, I want to help.”
“I’m fine.”
“I know you aren’t. It must be like when you zone out.”
“Those are completely unrelated.” I said, somewhat lying cause it isn"t always.
“I know it isn’t. I just want to help.”
“I’m fine.”
“No you aren’t and you know it.”
“If I told you you won"t be able to do anything.”
“So you admit it now?”
“No it’s just-”
“Maybe just tell me how to help.”
“Stop pushing me around and telling me what to do!” I slipped.
“I can do that.” Arin said. “I promise I just want to help.”
