My Soulmates are Idiots (well two of them, but I still love them)

Chapter 3: Mother Moon

Chapter Text

Tsukishima could be heard yelling from his room and Akaashi tore his gaze away from the dishes, trying to ignore the two men on the couch having sex. He jumped as Tsukishima’s door burst open and he came barreling out, interrupting the scene on the couch.

“What do you mean you were on your way anyway?! Mother! You must give more! Five minutes?! Mother!!” He tore the phone away from his ear and looked wildly at the two on the couch. “Stop that and get your pants on this minute! Now where have you guys not had sex?! Damn never mind I would need to scrub the entire place.” Kuroo pouted and sat up from under Bokuto.

“Dude, what is your damage?!” He was pissed, not only had he been so close, but he hated being ordered around.

“My mother will be here in less than five minutes!” He yelled back and started straightening things up before his phone rang again. Answering it he held it away from his ear as excited squealing and yelling was coming from the other end. “Calm down Suga, and I live in the blue apartment complex across from Hinata’s fifth floor room 269. I can"t talk right now my mother is on her way, call the others to meet here if you want a meeting.” He hung up and glared at the two on the couch. “Move!” The two jolted into action and got their pants up just in time for the doorbell to ring.

“Announcing the arrival of Lady Tsukishima.” Tsukishima paled as the deep and loud voice drifted through the door. He ignored Kuroo’s and Bokuto’s widened eyes and straightened himself up as he walked over to the door. Taking a deep breath, he opened the door and the most beautiful woman they had ever seen crossed into the apartment. She was just as tall as Tsukishima, had flowing long blond hair and sparkling golden eyes. She wore a beautiful golden gown that cinched her waist in and flowed out around her. It looked like a ball gown. The skirt shimmered under the lights and she wore light makeup that shimmered as well. She took a few delicate sniffs before her eyes widened.

“Oh my, smells like someone was doing something naughty in here.” She watched as the two on the couch turned an amazing color of red and her son blushed too. She could not keep the look up though as she giggled behind her fingertips. “Oh, don"t worry, I am only teasing, I remember what it was like to be young and in love.” Everyone relaxed and she swept over to the white leather chair and sat daintily down. “Now, Kei darling, what did you want to talk to me about?” She asked her youngest son. She smiled serenely and Kei held his schedule out to the woman.

“This, this is not the class schedule I gave to you. Why did you change it? Father will be furious that I am spending my time like this.” She took the paper and looked it over.

She then snorted.

“I see no problems here, it is a schedule that fits my musically inclined son, and last time I checked what your Father says doesn"t mean two twinkles to me. I am head of the family, not him. I want you to do what makes you happy my little Kei, and this will make that happen.” She handed the paper back to her son who was looking at her gob smacked before hugging her.

“Thank you, Mother.” She smiled before the rhythmic pounding of steps met their ears. Then they jumped as loud pounding on the door happened.

“Tsukki!!! TSUKKITSUKKITSUKKITSUKII!!!” Kei went over to the door and Sugawara stumbled in before hugging the blond happily. The ash blond was dressed in a pearl pink dress, the hem flaring out and the straps were off the shoulders, he was also wearing pearl pink stilettos with diamonds on the straps. After him came Hinata and Nishinoya, who both looked winded.

“Did you run all the way here?!” Kei asked as he took in the sight of his out of breath band mates and the bouncing ash blond. Sugawara nodded before thrusting his arm out, palm side up. There resting around a winged heart with the letters ‘A’ and ‘O’ in the middle was a solid gold armlet. It was made of swirls and the cut out above his soul mate mark was a heart. The armlet was also inlaid with gems of different types.

“Is that?”

“A mating brace!!” Sugawara yelled excitedly. A light squeal was heard, and Sugawara was enveloped in a golden hug.

“Oh, my stars! I am so happy for you sugarmama.” Kei’s mother kissed both of his cheeks. "It is that Daichi fellow correct? I always liked him, so responsible and mature."

“Oh yes, he really is the most wonderful person I could ever have ever been a soulmate with, he even refused my family’s money to by the brace when he formally asked them. He truly is my prince charming! Oh I need to go call my mother, please excuse me.” The whirlwind that was Sugawara went out the door and Nishinoya and Hinata looked at each other.

“We’re going to head to the mall, did you want to come with Tsukishima?” Nishinoya offered and the blond shook his head.

“Not today, I am still working on that thing for our group.” The shorter males made a noise of agreement and waved to him and bowed to the mother and left. The woman stood up and the golden dress swished around her hips as she looked at the fourth male in the room standing behind the kitchen counter. Her eyes narrowed and her posture shifted from relaxed and happy to completely straight backed and business.

“Akaashi-san.” Her voice was strict and cold and Akaashi’s eyes widen and back went ramrod straight. “I know of you, and while I don’t approve of you being here, I will allow it as long as you are nothing but polite and sweet to my son. One complaint and you will regret it for the rest of your life.” He bowed to her and Kei was confused as were the other two males.

“Of course, Lady Tsukishima. Thank you for your generosity.” She hummed distrustfully and turned to her son.

“Call me if there is any trouble, I love you my dear, but I must be off.” She kissed him on the cheek and then fluttered her fingers as she swept out of the apartment. There was an awkward silence before the males turned to the shaking male in the kitchen.

“Akaashi, what was that about.” The male looked at them and shook his head.

“I don’t want to speak about it Bokuto-san, please excuse me.” Akaashi left the kitchen and hurried off to his room, the door shutting quietly behind him. Tsukishima hummed quietly and then went to his room as well, and that’s when the others heard for the first time, the strumming of a guitar, a beautiful melody echoed through the house.
