Alhaitham started to show signs of forgetfulness. It wasn’t just misplacing something, but sometimes, Alhaitham wouldn’t remember he’d said or done something and ask about it later. It was like there were gaps in his memories. One day, Alhaitham woke up and started acting completely differently, overtaken by his Shadow. Kaveh now must make a trip to Alhaitham's subconscious to get him back.
Or: Kaveh gets a look inside Alhaitham’s mind. Literally.

Alhaitham scowls and sighs. Curtly, like he’s drawing lines of causation, he says, "I need to stop. Feeling. So I can sleep. I can't sleep."
“You need to…..” Kaveh manages, slowly, trying to register the situation through his rising fond incredulity. “So – let me get this right – you came here because you’re too turned on to rest?”
“.....” Alhaitham huffs. His ears are rosy. “Essentially. Too sensitive.”
“And you want me to – what, fuck you? Fuck it out of you??”
“You’re as adept at basic deduction as ever,” Alhaitham says dryly.
Alhaitham gets dosed with questionable experimental substances. If Kaveh's got so much charity in his sensitive heart to care about the sick and needy, then of course he should have it in him to take care of a sick, needy, sensitive Alhaitham.
