"Why'd you want to come here tonight?" Andy asks him. "Honestly."
"Honestly?" Novak echoes. There are crows feet around his eyes, deepening wrinkles and grey in his hair. Andy looks at the man he's known for a quarter-century and sees the boy he met at twelve, that same flash of a grin when he says,
"I wanted to play you again. Here." Novak looks out at the enormous silence of Centre Court. Moths dance beneath the yellow lights. "I wanted to be here with you, one more time."
