There’s only one person Johnny would trust with these sorts of feelings, one person who knows exactly how to fix it, put all his pieces back together where they should be like a perfect little puzzle.

Johnny is not one to scare easily, in fact he’s quite hard to seriously scare, but he was born with enough common sense in his head to know when being a little wary is the right choice to make. And in these woods, Johnny feels like the thrill of fear that steals up his spine as he walks is rational. He’s certain that even without the rumors of otherworldly things residing in the deepest and darkest parts of the trees, the place would still bring about that twisting sense of wrongness and dread.

Johnny's head immediately whips around and his eyes blow wide when he sees who said his name. "Mark?" He says, furrowing his brows like he isn't sure if he's imagining this or not until Mark smiles sheepishly. "Holy shit, Mark!"

Early morning sunshine filters through the sheer curtains covering the bedroom window, pale streams of light warming Johnny’s face. His eyes flutter open and he nearly groans out loud when he blearily checks his phone to see that it’s way too early to be awake. Jaehyun’s soft breathing against the back of Johnny’s neck and Mark’s adorable snoring behind Jaehyun keep him silent, unwilling to disturb his peaceful sleeping boys.

That voice, groggy and a bit rough from clearly being asleep, instantly shatters every bit of strength Johnny had left. If he’d been standing, he absolutely would’ve hit the ground and cracked his head open more than Yuta’s dumb accessories ever could. His face is soaked in tears but he can’t even feel himself crying, the blood on his cheek loosening up under the wetness.

Johnny drums his fingers on the table nervously. “So, you’re saying, correct me if I’m wrong here, you want me to…help Mark through his heat and, um…” Johnny clears his throat. Mark’s right. This is really embarrassing to talk about, even more so in a public space where people are definitely eavesdropping.
“And knock him up, yes.” Ten smiles and pets Mark’s head. Mark, who is still hiding in the comfort of his hands with his shoulders drawn up to his ears. “He’ll be so good for you, won’t you Markie?”
