Summary
“Look,” Beomgyu says one day, when they’re sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on Soobin’s bed. The TV is playing some action movie they found a decent copy of online, but Soobin has been distracted by Beomgyu’s head on his shoulder for the past half hour. “Your hand is so big.”
Soobin doesn’t think he’s actually that much bigger than Beomgyu.
Beomgyu is dead set on proving him wrong.

Summary
He should call their manager. It’s protocol—when somebody presents, they notify management straight away. That’s what they did for Taehyun and that’s what they did for Kai.
Their manager is a beta too. He’ll have no issues in making sure Beomgyu has everything he needs. Putting aside the fact Beomgyu is contractually obligated to contact him first, he’s the most logical choice.
Beomgyu should really call their manager.
He calls Soobin.
Beomgyu presents. Some things change. Most things don’t. (Even though they probably should.)

“I thought I could do it forever, if I was on the same team as you, Beomgyu-yah. But then when I got traded, I realized that’s not a good reason to keep playing. Athletes are supposed to have passion, even if it wavers. I’ve only ever felt that passion for you.”

Summary
“You’re pretty,” Beomgyu says while looking into Soobin’s eyes.
Soobin flounders, his cheeks heating up, “Are you drunk or something?”
“No, do I have to be?” he asks, leaning into the fence more, he doesn’t know why but he feels unabashed about it. Maybe because it’s just a fact at this point.
“I don’t know, last time you said this it was sarcastic.”
The last time he said it he was jealous.
Beomgyu’s love for his golden-hearted best friend blossoms alongside him, from his teenage years into his twenties, woven through the many fleeting moments of youth.
