Caitlyn's piercing gaze stayed focused on Vi for a hot moment, not faltering until Vi folded. She winced as she flashed Caitlyn what she was currently hiding, face darkening in red that nearly matched her hair color. She peeked at Caitlyn after a while of covering her face and saw the amused expression she wore. Then the girl did something that made Vi jump, not at all expecting it. Vi shouldn't have been surprised to learn that Caitlyn and Maddie were dating. They made sense in a way Caitlyn and Vi never did, but that doesn't mean the revelation hurt any less. Well, time for Vi to push the pain inside and ignore it until she dies, like any normal well adjusted adult would do!
When Maddie insisted the three of them head out for some drinks to relax for a short while after the fight against Ambessa, Vi didn't see why not. To Vi's delight, a very familiar face from Stillwater came to join the group on their night out.
Vi doesn't think she's ever seen Caitlyn so pissed off in her entire life.
