    “Hi.” Fengo’s voice was tight as he tried not to laugh, blinking a few times innocently as he squeezed Astarion’s hand even tighter under the blanket. Despite not needing to breathe, Astarion let out a long breath.

    “Hello, darling.” He leaned in and pressed his forehead to Fengo’s, closing his eyes and letting the warmth of Fengo’s skin spread into his own. His partner’s skin was so nice and soft, and Astarion noticed he didn’t pull away like he had been doing before. “You’re beautiful, you know. Almost unfairly so, I might add.” Fengo’s composure finally broke as he let out a giddy little snort, laughter and joy practically oozing out of his voice.

    “I’ve missed you, you know. I’ve missed us.”

    Or: Astarion and Fengo took a break from their relationship after the defeat of the Netherbrain in order to work on themselves. Now, a few years later, they both feel ready to get back together. After a soft, emotional conversation, they make love with each other because they've both missed the intimacy and the pleasure.
