Will’s tenderness is a constant. And what a gift it is. Will conjures summer itself through sheer will, as though he could pull Hannibal out of winter’s grasp and set him down in a field of green and gold. Hannibal knows nothing of the ache of bones any longer. His days are filled with cooking and cleaning, the motions of care and love. He kneads dough with his mother’s frantic energy, channels her restless hands into feeding Will, keeping him full. And Will, in turn, keeps him warm. It is love.

Summary
Will and Hannibal found their routine in a domestic life. They were in love, happier than they thought ever possible. And yet…
A rewrite of antiheroblake’s, “it’s dark out here in the dead of night.” This is first person in my own style. I wanted to elaborate on the grief, writing (even as the title states this is phonic) as Will to Hannibal from his memory of the day, reflecting in a state of wistful limerance what they’d had, and what was lost.

Summary
For a moment longer, Hannibal is concerned by how this is possible, how Will could fit in the pot, before his tired mind finally clicks that Will has somehow shrunk down to barely the length of Hannibal’s own hand. He is also completely naked; Hannibal is suddenly very much awake.
Hannibal finds a pocket-sized Will Graham hiding in his pot.

Will is a Priest. Hannibal always gets what he wants. He’s not going to let Will stand in his way.
