She knows Bella’s mother is responsible for the accident that hospitalized Neville’s parents, but they can’t afford to pass on the opportunity.

“Harry!” She hears as she presses end. She knows that he’s trying to warn her of something, she just can’t care what it is at this point. Bellatrix and whatever psychopath is marrying her will have the best damn wedding of the century and then Harry will return to New York with her business being much better known.
London would only be a part of her life again very briefly and besides, it’s not like she can possibly see him. It’s been almost ten years since she ran, surely he can’t still care that she left.

Harriet clicks her tongue, healing the still heavily bleeding wound on Tom’s forearm, stroking the skin there afterwards as her gaze meets Tom’s. The heady impressed look the diary had given him before he trapped her again fills his vision once more on this older version's face. Still ethereal.
“Oh,” she laughs delightedly, the sound gorgeous, “you’re like me, aren’t you?” A single dainty finger reaches out to touch Tom’s scar and instead of the intense pain he’s been faking for Dumbledore all these years, Tom’s body goes lax in immense pleasure. Harriet closes her eyes, feeling the joy and pleasure as well.
“I have seen your heart, Tom Riddle… And it is mine.”

“I told you Harry Potter was a Leo!” Tom can hear the other girl giggle and watches as the pile of dark braids on her head leans forward as she responds to the other girl with, “It’s a wonder he’s in love with that Capricorn boy. A Leo and a Capricorn? As if.” Tom freezes.

Preposterous.
If he was, Tom would absolutely know about it. Harry tells Tom everything since they met on the train in first year. Both poor, both orphans… They understood each other on a level most could never comprehend. Harry both belonged to and with Tom always. So the idea that he loved somebody else is too incomprehensible and so angering that Tom wants to hex those two witches where they stand. And what the actual fuck are Leos and Capricorns?

Summary
That is what Harry Potter makes him feel. He makes Tom feel like murder and world domination and incessant hunger. Tom wants to carve open Harry's chest and take a bite out of his living, beating, human heart. He wants to lay claim to cities and oceans until his empire is too large to crumble out from underneath him. Harry Potter makes him feel both powerful and weak and Tom finds himself wondering… Is this what love feels like?
Is Harry Potter the one causing flowers to grow in Tom’s lungs where they shouldn’t be? Tom doesn’t know. He is a product of a love potion and the fact that he can love was shocking to hear in the first place, but to love Harry Potter? Gryffindor’s golden boy? The thought makes him feel ill.
