On her birthday, Lumine is dumped at the entrance to the amusement park she was supposed to go to on her date and happens to meet a young man, Childe, who was stood up. Instead of wasting the evening, he invites her to spend the evening with him, and they have an amazing evening together that makes feelings for one another’s companionship (and maybe more?!) blossom.

“Um…” Eddie looks over and Robin is giving him a sympathetic look from the floor. He looks back to Steve who seems so sure of himself.
“Not to burst your bubble or anything, Steve,” Eddie starts with a grimace, “But there isn’t exactly a huge line of dudes outside waiting to kiss the freak out here in bumfuck nowhere Indiana.”
“Wait,” Steve says, eyes going comically wide, “Are you saying-“
“Oh for fucks sake,” Eddie says, bringing a hand to run down his face. “No, Steve. I’ve never been kissed either.”
