Summary
After several tries, cornstarch spills, and a dropped ball of ice cream later, the mochi is finished. It sits on one of the Uraraka’s nicer plates, little sakura flowers decorating the edges as the pink and white mochi sits side by side.
Ochaka stands back, grinning widely and placing her hands on her hips. There’s a smear of cornstarch on one of her cheeks. “We did it!”
“With minimal casualties!” Himiko cheers, throwing up her own hands in victory. She’d set her cardigan to the side once the cornstarch started flying, but now her t-shirt’s just covered in it, too.
“Rip Horatio, you will be missed,” Ochako sighs, placing a hand over her heart dramatically.
“...wait, I thought Horatio was the one character that didn’t die in Hamlet?” The blond asks, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
“Don’t expect me to remember anything from our Western Literature classes.” The deadpan tone makes Himiko giggle. Ochako brightens again, and picks up one of her own white mochi. “Okay- ready to taste?”

"I am. The blood you gave me… It was enough to keep me going while the paramedics arrived. Honestly, I fell unconscious the moment they started treating you, too. I woke up yesterday. I have been… Waiting for you to wake up."
"What happened?" Toga’s asking about the war. How did it end?
"Oh… I don't know the extent of it, really," Ochako’s voice is tinged with sadness. "I've spent the last few days here, recovering, waking up, and then… Watching over you. But I know that… The war is over."—
OR, after the war, Toga finds herself in the aftermath of a world she didn't think she'd be a part of. Not quite a villain anymore and definitely not a hero, she will struggle to find her new place in the world. Ochako takes her under her protection and soon their tentative connection gives way to a steadfast friendship, and a blooming love amongst the aftermath of the war.

Ignoring the fact that her girlfriend is probably right, Himiko takes the umbrella from her so that the other can focus on not crashing the broomstick. “So where are we going for our date? You said you wanted to keep it a surprise.”
“We’re going to a pumpkin patch!” Ochako says, directing the broom higher towards the clouds.
“Really?” She blinks. “I mean, if we need pumpkins, we can just go to the grocery store-”
“Absolutely not!” Her girlfriend declares. “It’s not about the pumpkins, Himi- it’s about the pumpkin patch. It’s not about just getting a pumpkin- it’s about everything around it, the hayrides and the apple cider and the corn maze.”
Ochako looks back, eyes sparkling with joy and determination. “And those are all the things we’re going to do today!”
(Or, Ochako and Himiko go to a pumpkin patch for their one-year anniversary.)

“Please,” Rumi rolls her eyes, and gently nudges Fuyumi over so she can give it a shot herself. “I’ve done harder workouts than this. Hell, I’ve kicked the shit out of guys thrice the size of myself.”
“Like it’s hard to be thrice your size,” she mutters. Rumi whips her head around, glaring the entire inch up at her girlfriend. Fuyumi snorts. “Try doing this for ten solid minutes, though.” She grins, and flexes an arm, showing a small amount of muscle. “That’s how I got these guns.”
Rumi, not stopping her kneading, leans over and pecks her forearm. Fuyumi squeaks, blushing furiously, and she starts to cackle as she continues to knead. Still blushing, Fuyumi goes to dust off her hands and grab her phone.
A moment later, music plays softly over the Bluetooth speaker. Rumi’s ear twitches, as she internally tries to place the melody. She’s pretty sure that the playlist her girlfriend chose is just instrumentals of Christmas music. The realization makes her grin, lovestruck and stupid.

It was odd, really, that Aimsey kept coming back.
Hera didn’t expect this when they first started their experiments — maybe faun would come back to her after the drowning, believing it was a mistake… but Hera had killed him too many times to call it a coincidence anymore. Still, Aimsey seemed to act as if she truly believed all of Hera’s half-assed excuses.
Hera wondered, sometimes, if Aimsey wasn’t pretending to believe her, but it didn’t really matter, in the end. The result was still the same.
(The lamb nodded its head in understanding as it was led to the slaughter, believing this to be a sort of penance).
