Summary
Bruce was there the night Dick"s parents died. Sitting in the audience, with a tiny two-year-old next to him. He"d reached over and tucked tiny Timmy"s face into his shoulder. He wished he could have tucked the ten-year-old on the trapeze into his shoulder.
Bruce thinks he has two shoulders and therefore he has room to comfort a second little someone.
Dick, however, is just wondering what exactly Bruce is hiding. He"s figured out the basically-already-adopted little brother secret. Now he just has to figure out what else there is...

Summary
“Epilepsy.” Tim breathed. He was already shaking his head. “But I feel fine.”
“You’re fine now,” Bruce said, his hand on Tim’s knee. “Because of the medications that you have been put on. They are helping to regulate your body, keeping inappropriate electrical impulses at a minimum.”
“Inappropriate electrical impulses.” Tim said. “Really Bruce, I’m not a child.”
“A normal child wouldn’t have understood what I just said.” Bruce countered.
Tim blinked. Then, again.
“I would have.” Tim finally said.
__________________Timothy Jackson Drake is many things.
He"s brilliant, he"s brave, he"s Red Robin. Some might say he"s a little shit, but that was neither here nor there. Well, actually, yeah, he"s a little shit but whatever.
What Tim can"t be is broken.
He can"t possibly bring shame to the Drake name and the Wayne family. He can"t possibly have epilepsy, because he is meant to be better than that, he needs to be better than that.

Summary
Damian watched as the third presence dawned on Drake. His face crumpled, looking horribly miserable at the realization of his mistake. The needle went in for no more than a few seconds before Drake’s eyes rolled to the back of his head and he promptly passed out.
Damian reacted on instinct, moving to disarm the attacker. He was a strong weapon, even without his sword to aid him. The syringe was knocked out of the man’s grip with ease as Damian moved to leave him unconscious.
What he failed to calculate for was a second syringe.

Tim and Damian get kidnapped during a gala and the brothers find themselves having to survive in a forest despite hating each other.

Summary
Tim was really, really sick. He was consuming six to seven meals a day but staying eternally hungry. He drank liters of water and was still thirsty. He’d lost nearly ten pounds in a month despite the massive food intake and he was constantly exhausted, despite the fact that he’d been getting better at sleeping for more than six hours a day.
Not even three google searches at the beginning of April, and Tim was ninety percent sure he had type one diabetes. It was July, he still hadn"t told a soul, and he was dying. Whoops.
