Nolan isn't ashamed of what he is, regardless of how the media portrays his kind. Extremists have always tried to paint them as weak or inferior and yet he alone disproves their theory with every breath he takes. He is strong, stubborn, and capable to every extent. He was in the top of his class at one of the best schools. Nolan had to work hard to get where he is, despite what he is, but in moments like this, as the heat begins to set in, he truly feels his weakest. Not just weak, but weak for an alpha.
