Summary
The truth is that she had known she was going to die minutes before the wound was actually reopened and she stripped the runes from Ambessa’s arm. Since the Grey cleared and revealed her Enforcers lined up on their knees, Noxian soldiers behind them, and her own gun pointed to her head, she knew that this was the end.
Since that bullet ricocheted and Maddie’s body fell, slumped over Caitlyn’s shoulder before falling to the floor, she had known that she was working on borrowed time.
Finally, it’s run out. And suddenly, she’s struck by everything that she’s spent the past few months avoiding as if she’s taken another knife to the stomach or spear to the eye or bullet to the head.

Nico di Angelo looks exactly like his music.
Now, technically, the only thing he has going for that is the… alright cover art that he and Apollo apparently made for his first album, and the slightly better art for his second album. Rachel’s listened to haunted, and she has to admit that it’s a bit chaotic, but most of it generally matches his vibe. Dark, gloomy, depressed teenager.
He looks the part, that’s for sure. But now that Rachel’s met him, she’s trying to figure him out and coming to a dead-end.

“Who’s the opener?” Magnus asks Blitz, signing at the same time for Hearth. He usually looks these things up beforehand, but then again, the concert had been a last-second sort of thing. Annabeth had offered some spots in the VIP section of one of her friend’s shows while he and his friends were in town, and because Magnus has gotten quite used to Annabeth throwing around random excursions, he immediately said yes.
Blitz shrugs, but a moment later, the name appears across the screen, and he helpfully reads out: “Alex Fierro.”
Magnus would scoff and say, “Thanks,” sarcastically if his attention wasn’t caught once again by the figure on the stage. Alex Fierro, apparently, grabs the mic just as the music starts. It’s hard to see her—or him? Them?— before Alex appears on the screen, her full frame in view.
Magnus can’t help but stare.

They hang there and every time they break it entertains us. Summary
If pressed, Vi would probably say she couldn't really see the point of yet another monument. Graves, at least, were private enough, but a statue of Jinx in the middle of Zaun was hardly the place where she could mourn for her sister in solitude. If Pilties wanted to assuage their guilt or if Zaunites wanted to send a message, she honestly couldn’t care less. If she had her way, she’d have nothing to do with it.
At that point in life, Vi should already be aware she hardly, if ever, had things go her way.

By all definition, they marvel, she is a medical miracle; her soul sewn back into this mortal vessel by the heroic efforts of the finest Piltover had to offer and cradled in a web of tubing and lines dripping saline and blood and therapies into her veins until they were reasonably sure she was ready to move from the antiseptic sterility of the hospital to the comfort of her own room to recuperate.
Caitlyn doesn’t feel like a miracle.
Or, Caitlyn is concussed and on bedrest, so she does the only thing she can: think.
