Full of interruptions today they were, though the annoyance faded as she watched something like an uneasy revelation spread across both their expressions as they exchanged almost panicked glances.
“Sort of. I suppose you could put it that way, yeah. Did graduate top of my class!” She chirped, eyeing the pair.
“And you never thought to mention this?”

“Are you going to disappear again?” she asked. Her words were quiet, but they still pierced through the air clearly, and Elrond had no problem understanding what she said. He looked at the sky. The night was nearing its blackest, and he knew Arien set sail here long before she woke them in Beleriand.
“Not yet,” he said.
Sometimes, late at night, Elrond and Elros share a dream of white shores, a path through the woods and a Cottage at the end of it - and of a woman, who keeps insisting that she is their mother, who drowned long ago. Obviously, as Elros likes to remind his twin, she has to be lying.
