Summary
Steve is struggling with nightmares post-Vecna. He needs someone to talk to, but he gets too in his head about not wanted to worry anyone. He knows that everyone else is going through their own shit, and it doesn"t feel fair to burden anyone with his own anxiety issues. On a walk to clear his head after a bad dream, he runs into none other than Eddie Munson. Sure, the two of them had definitely gotten closer while they were saving the world, but something about this run-in with Eddie seems different. It makes Steve feel things he hadn"t felt since Nancy. After saving the world, you would think Steve would be able to handle anything. But his sexuality crisis and newfound feelings for Eddie is something way more confusing and daunting than the Upside Down had ever been.

Summary
The events of the last few years of his life have left Steve Harrington a wreck. He feels as alone in life as he imagines he would in death. Things begin to change after hes rescued from a drunken stupor by sort-of-friend Eddie Munson.
Eddie is a soft dom at heart, and ends up unknowingly influencing Harrington to take better care of himself, do things he enjoys. Steve doesnt understand the calm and the peace he begins to feel around Eddie, or his apparent need to make Eddie proud.
When Eddie realizes the influence hes had on Steves life he battles with weather or not its right of him to continue treating his friend as a submissive in need of guidance. Eddie decides to lay it all out for Steve, and confesse his true feelings for him.
Or
Steve Harrington discovers he"s a sub and ALSO in love with Eddie Munson after he helps get Steves life back to a happy, healthy space. The tags dont make sense now bc you have to wait for it.
