Vox paused in the middle of untangling a length of silk rope.
“...Would that make you more or less into it?” Vox shot back, one eyebrow raised, his tone as wry as Alastor's had been. As though having the Radio Demon over at his tower, pawing through various straps, harnesses and machines Alastor couldn't begin to fathom the purpose of was just the sort of thing that happened for him, on a Friday.
As it turned out – it was.

There are a hundred signs that something is wrong with Tim and once Jason starts looking, he cannot believe how he missed it before. He does not want to call it suicidal, but Tim seems to care more about getting the job done than whether he will still be whole on the other side of it.

Summary
There is no easier way to tell that a recon mission has gone wrong than the air being suddenly filled with shouting and gunshots. Batman goes down and Tim gets him home. It is only later that he realizes he has been shot himself. But Bruce is unconscious and Alfred has his hands full. He cannot be a burden to them, he'll just deal with it himself.

Summary
He Xuan doesn’t know how long he lies there helpless under the waves of torment. He can’t focus on his surroundings, can’t focus on anything but the pain and the certainty that he is going to die for good before he gets a chance to take his revenge. He just wishes it would hurry up already.
A sudden cool wave cuts through the pain. He Xuan gasps. His vision is still blurred, but in the relief his hearing comes back enough to pick up a low voice speaking to him. “Rest now, Didi. You’re going to be alright.”
