Summary
A picture.
Torn, sodden and crumpled on the cold, wet ground. It glistens with the rain.
A picture of his family Jughead keeps in his pocket at all times. A picture that once filled with his cold heart with a little spark of warmth. Even just a little. A picture that once served as his only hope, the thing he looked ahead on the horizon in hopes it could get him through this awful limbo he was living.
Jughead watches as it withers and breaks down as the rain splatters harshly on top of it. Soaking it to its core, and he watches as the colours splatter and mix and distort until it is all gone. Just this haunting culmination of what was once there. Horribly warped.
How foolish of him to let himself open the heart he had locked away for good reason, locked away and hidden in the dark corners of a projection booth playing a condensed version of life filled with certainty and a happy end. A conclusion, development, contentment. Jughead had opened himself up again and all he got was a huge blow to his heart and this time Jughead doesn’t think he can put himself back together again.
(Jughead tries to process his father being a murderer.)

The Les Amis are doing a production of Next to Normal, a little off broadway show about mental illness they all are hoping to get to Broadway. Enjolras plays a central character called Gabe, and pours his heart out every night and knocks it out of the park religiously and without a fail. It takes a toll on his health, on a very important day, no less. Boyfriend and Tech Guy Grantaire is here to help.

Summary
The rain pours harder, raining down on him hard and harsh like a waterfall, causing him to sprint towards the closest tree. He feels so miserable he doesn’t even know if the droplets on his face are his own tears or the rain. Maybe a mixture of both.
(Jughead is homeless and has nowhere to shelter himself from a storm, and ends up at his friend Betty Cooper's window.)

Summary
It had started with a cough, a typical winter ailment that he got every year, no biggie. But a cough wasn’t meant to last this long, Jughead was convinced it wasn’t meant to hurt this much.
The stress of the next few days did no wonders to Jughead’s declining health and mental health. When he should’ve been getting better, he lay wide awake at night, afraid to shut his eyes in fear of the nightmares that plagued him. He clutched his small blanket in the Andrews garage, shivering, wanting it all to end.
The one thing the freezing cold garage did in his favour was the fact he could cough freely, not afraid of waking Archie had he been in the air mattress. However, he couldn’t quite ignore the nagging thought at the back of his mind telling him that coughs were not meant to hurt his chest that much, that they weren’t meant to be that deep, that wet, this teeth-chattering.
The phlegm certainly wasn’t meant to be tinged with blood.
