Scar pulled him tighter when Grian moved to back away, not letting go of his collar. He felt like he was choking whether it'd be physically or mentally, the tenacity in Scar's eyes expressed so much that Grian didn't know what to think of them.
He gulped, trying to get rid of the tightness inside his throat. It didn't work.

Rody gulped when Vincent took a step forward, hands waving around in the air in panic— as if it could convey his words. "I wanted to go to the bathroom— but I got distracted."
He averted his eyes when Vincent finally closed the gap between them— although they stood a good centimeters away. Rody briefly wondered how long that would last.
