“Ix Chel is displeased with you. She has declared that since K’uk’ulkan has made a mockery of marriage, the gods will not bless Talokan with children.”
For a brief, yet very long moment, Namor wondered if his mutation not only caused him to have ears pointed to the sky, but greatly twisted his hearing ability as well.
“I’m sorry, what?”
“You have bound yourself to a woman in marriage without fulfilling its obligations,” the shaman explained. “The gods are displeased. You must fulfill your obligations to your wife and if you do not wish to stay together afterwards, you must release her from the marriage.”
“And exactly who am I married to?”______
In which Namor and Shuri discover that they are accidentally married after he gave her his mother’s bracelet and have to go through wedding rituals before they can get divorced.
