Summary
Five years ago, the man Lottie loved left without a word, just a stupid note taped to her apartment door listing excuse after excuse of why he couldn't stay in Zuzu City anymore and, by proxy, with her. Leaving behind her horribly degrading job at Joja and escaping the city for the farm she practically grew up on, she wanted a fresh start. But when the person from her past who hurt her worse than anyone ever had immediately reenters the new life she was hoping for, she doesn't know whether it was worth leaving the city.

Summary
Taigen grabbed Mizu’s hand. It was the first time he held Mizu's hand so tenderly, immediately stopping him in his tracks.
“We’re not done yet.”
“I know.”
Taigen loosened his grip and let Mizu pull his hand away as he sprinted after Fowler. Taigen had to use every ounce of his willpower to fight the urge to get up and run after him.
Mizu had told him to go to the north sewer to find Akemi and run away with her. He had told him that honor was meaningless and the path of the samurai only leads to death. But his reason for wanting to run after Mizu was not honor. He wanted to fight next to him, to protect him and ensure he could kill Fowler without dying in the process.
____Mizu told Taigen to go find Akemi, but what if he goes after Mizu instead? Slight canon divergence at the end of Season 1.
I mostly use female pronouns for Mizu, but for sections that mainly reflect Taigen’s thoughts, I use male pronouns until the reveal.

Summary
Oh, this was fucking perfect. Vi had been pissed since they had spotted the shiny, silver and blue bus that had “University of Piltover” painted on the side in neat font stopped on the side of the road with steam rolling out of the engine.
Vander and Ekko had gotten off to see if Ekko could help.
Ekko had gotten back on the bus after not very long, hollering over the music, which had gotten cranked since they were just sitting there, “yeah, they’re stuck. Radiator’s shot, it’ll need replacement parts and we’re nowhere near auto stores.”
There were a few groans of sympathy, despite the fact that the whole team knew the bus was full of a bunch of stuck up Pilties.
Vander wasn’t back on the bus yet, which meant…Vi didn’t know what.
“Hey, Mylo! Can you see him? What’s happening?”
“I don’t know. Oh, hold up. He just pointed at the bus! The fuck does that mean?”
Vi had a sneaking suspicion that whatever it meant, it was likely to make her day worse.
OR:
Caitlyn is the rifle team captain for the University of Piltover, Vi's the boxing team captain for Zaun U, and they hate each other...but they're stuck together until they get back home

May I ask you something?
Vi grabbed her phone off of the kitchen counter to respond.
sure cupcake. shoot
The dots that meant Caitlyn was typing popped up.
Disappeared.
Vi’s other eyebrow joined the first.
It was fucking weird Caitlyn was hesitating to ask her anything.
A few seconds later, the dots popped up again.
Vi sighed, starting to type.
well
shit or get off the pot cupcake
Vi laughed, picturing the wrinkle between Caitlyn’s eyebrows as she frowned at Vi’s word choice.
She stuck the last bite of her breakfast in her mouth as the three little dots popped up in the corner of her screen.
Would you consider this “tasteful”?
Vi read the message, her own brow crinkling as she made a confused face at the screen. She started typing “what” but only got as far as “wh–” when an image popped up under the message.
Her best friend had just…
Her best friend had just sent her a fucking nude.
OR
Vi and Caitlyn are best friends, they're completely in love with each other, and a saucy photo feedback request stokes the fire.

Just a fic that's been on my mind for weeks, based on the prompt:
"During my first tattoo, my artist was a very pretty lady w many tattoos and I winced and then exhaled slowly when she was going over one of my ribs and she said "good girl". My entire body just fucking froze and I stopped breathing" - @FloralSappho on twitter
I think most of you can understand why I needed to write this.

Summary
Hermione never saw Teddy uncover a small, featureless stone. She never saw the stone glow in his hands or his eyes squeeze shut as he thought his childish thoughts. She certainly never imagined that the will of a small child and the pull of ancient magic would bring Remus Lupin back to life.
