Summary
I probably put more trigger warnings than necessary, but just to be safe! But basically a slightly more dark Maddie/Doug storyline.
What if Doug was met with Buck instead of Maddie at her apartment and he decided to take Buck instead? He chose to kidnap a man he was obsessed over in order to get Maddie back and have some fun along the way.
OR
Buck gets kidnapped by Doug. Eddie, Maddie and Athena are trying to save him. Season 2 episode 13 rewrite.

“Hen made a joke that I was Buck’s sugar baby.” Eddie said and then waved his hand around a bit, trying to think of some sort of explanation, deflection, but he fell short.
“Sugar baby!” Jee-Yun babbles and Eddie flushes even more as Maddie smiles at her.
“Yes! That’s what Eddie is!” She says and Eddie fumbles over his words.
“Maddie!” He says, in that similar scandalised tone he had when Hen had first brought it up.

or, a bucket list that’s really about buck needing to make a change and an eddie who’s ready to do anything to see him fall in love with life again. it takes some crossing off for eddie to realise—the thing at the top of the list in his own heart? it’s been right here all along
