“What - what were they saying?”
Penelope glances at him sideways. His cheeks are a little flushed, that pretty mouth of his partly open. He is still staring at her.
“Um. Well. They said you were daddy material.”
The minute it comes out of her mouth she knows she should not have said it. It is so deeply, awfully inappropriate. Her cheeks burn. She is about to apologise when Colin straightens and twists his whole body towards her.
“What does that mean?” he asks. When she does not answer, he uses his stern teacher voice, the one he uses on the students. “Penelope. Tell me.”

He wonders if that has something to do with her upbringing, her mother, a lack of love. Some sort of avoidance of it all, some sort of block.
But still, every time. With Henry she drank every single beer out of his fridge. She hates beer. He held her hair back as she hurled for hours in the early morning. With Phineas she showed up at his already plastered, mascara stains on her cheeks as she smiled weird and wide and asked to come inside. With George she was calmer, but she still called him after drinking a whole bottle of wine by herself and he could tell she had been crying. It's always clear in her voice. In her eyes.

Summary
Simon knew that Patty got jealous. He knew it probably wasn’t fair of him to encourage fans who were particularly handsy just so he could see how Patty would react. He couldn’t help it though, it always turned him on when he saw the fierce, animal-like possessiveness form in her eyes. Especially liked it when it drove her far enough to stake her claim publicly, even more so when she took it out on him in bed afterwards.
Jealousy was an emotion that Simon knew well. But, in all his life, Simon had never experienced jealousy in any romantic scenarios. Patty had changed all that for him, though.
Or, 2 times that Patty feels jealous and 1 time Simon does.

Sungchan wonders whether or not he’s overdoing it with the kindergarten teacher’s enthusiasm, but it makes Donghyuck laugh another one of his signature eardrum-piercing laughs. “Oh my God,” he giggles, stabbing his fork through the cake, “You’re such a virgo.”
(Or, how it doesn’t make sense that after all these years, homophobia magically manifests in Sungchan the moment he starts rooming with Donghyuck Lee.)
