It wasn’t all bad sometimes. It was usually dark, and it was always cold, but it didn’t matter, really. Not when there are days when Jimin smiles, laughing softly at Yoongi saying something funny, holding his hand and trying, despite Yoongi turning away, to love away the parts of him that hurt.
Things weren’t completely better, like Yoongi had promised they would be. They would be. Eventually he’d get to the rings he has hidden away, and the grey days would fade away.
Yoongi just had to keep going, even though it hurts and he doesn’t want to, really. It would be enough. Someday.

Summary
Steve and Bucky grew up in a world of backstreets rife with magic and enchantment, and when the time was right they formed a Soul Bond, a permanent connection from one heart to another.
